About

My name is Adama Mansaray. I am in grade six. I am 12 years old. I am a Kono by tribe. I am a student of Muddy Lotus Primary School. My best subjects in school are reading and Literature. My favorite game is basketball. In my fun time I play with my younger ones. In the morning before I go to school I sweep, wash plates and say my prayers before I go to school. My favorite food is rice and potato leaves. Rice is our main meal at home. I like helping my mother at home with her domestic work. I hate to see people fighting. I want to be Minister at my old age.

Hi, Adama! My name is Taylor and I am from Wisconsin, USA. I will donate as much as possible and I hope you reach your goal!! :)
Dear Sponsors,
My name is Adama Mansaray, I am attending the Bartch Memorial Secondary School Makeni. I am in form 3 (JSS III).
I appreciate all your effort and how are you? I hope everything is fine, as for me I am wonderful because I have started going to school now as you have paid my school fees for one year, by a bicycle to go to school and all my school materials. We are happy for Shine on Sierra Leone for giving us this great opportunity to educate us for our future.
God bless you
Thanks
Adama Mansaray

    Kenya

Enoch comes from a humble family of two and he is the first born child. His parents are unemployed and depend on casual jobs to sustain their family and thus unable to raise his secondary school fees. Despite staying home for most of the time throughout his primary education due to lack of school levies, his dream to become a mechanical engineer has kept her focused. Enoch has seen a number of people in his area struggle too much when their machines and engines break down and there is no one to help repair them. He would also like to help the needy and poor families support their children in becoming better persons in the future. His hobbies are drawing and taking photographs. He holds on to the quote that says the road to success is not straight.
