About

My name is Ibrahim Sorie Keita. I am 13 years old. I am a pupil of Muddy Lotus Primary School. I am in grade six. The subject I like best in school is Composition and Letter Writing. I also like doing Mathematics and reading novels. I also like Indian music. My father is a diamond Miner. I sometimes go with him to see him and his mate at work. On Saturdays I wash my cloths and do my homework at night. Sometimes we come together in a group with my friends and tell stories. My favorite food is Rice and Okra Soup. I want to be an accountant in future.

My name is Miles Bilbe and I love to be outside and feel connected to the earth. Learning is important for me because education is the missing link to world peace and happiness.

My name is Njiai. I come from Ngorongoro Conservation Area near Misigiyo primary school. Maasai people are very poor and uneducated, not because they like it but because of the nature of their environment. They live in a dry land that is not productive. They depend on pastoralism. They live in a typical traditional style. I am the second of the five children. My father passed away and my mother is unemployed. She possesses only four traditional cows. This does not support our family needs. My dream to be is a nurse. I can only get there by learning seriously and concentrating in the classroom. I will be very happy if one day I have completed my education and have my own income.

Before I was in The School Fund family, it was too hard for me to attend school when the school fee was not paid. Because of The School Fund, I learned never to give up. For some years now, my family has been separated. I had to live away from home during my Ordinary level studies. My mother had gone to Arusha to start another life so it was hard for me to be with her during my school years. My dream is to be a doctor and treat my fellow Tanzanians and even others from outside my country. For me to get there, I have to work on my studies. The moment I felt proud of myself was when I was told that I would be one of The School Fund Family. The happiest moments of my life are when I see my mother.
