About

I live in a traditional village inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. I have two parents but they separated in 2011. I live with my uncle. I have no idea where my mother lives. My two brothers and I need education but it is hard for us to get it because our economic status. In my family, we don’t take breakfast and lunch is insufficient. To me, education is the only way to fight against poverty and ignorance. I am the only girl in my family in secondary school. I am so happy. I don’t think about marriage but in my tradition girls are forced into early marriage. In a few years to come, I will be in form six heading to my dream of being a doctor. I can get there by working hard.
