I live with my aunt because my parents are two drunkards. They do nothing to support my education. My aunt likes me to study but she is not strong enough economically. She cannot afford my entire school expenses because even my parents need her support. The situation of my parents is challenging to me. My dream is to become a doctor. I can achieve it by studying harder and harder. Having a School Fund scholarship helps me much. I will study hard in order to get good marks. In some years to come, I will be in University somewhere in our country.

Dear Students,
How are you? Your exams must be coming up shortly and we are hopeful that you are studying very hard in order to do well. It is so important that you do well so you will have the freedom to work in the career that you choose. I am an artist and i always wish I could go back to school to learn more and be able to excel. You are very lucky to get this education . . . Spend your time studying and you will be happy that you did!

This year has gone by quickly and you just have a month to study hard and make the best of this year.
We are all thinking of you and wish you the very best with your exams.

Hello Jenny.How are you. Fire is so useful in our life as follows
Importance of fire discoveries
1.Improvement of shelter eg man started to drive away the dangerous animals from the cave and use these as home.
2.Improvement of family relation.Fire brought man togather in social matters like stories telling etc.
3.Man ate cooked and roasted food instead of raw food.They learned how to store meat through smoke.
4.Man had ability to clear a large bush and fell trees so he was capable living in a wooden areas.
5.Used to kill small animals for example rodents,rabbits etc. for his/her diet.
6.Man was able to make better weapons and tools. Fire was used to soften the tools made of wood.
7.Increase of working hours.Instead on depending on the sun man was able to work by using fire light during the night.

    Emmaculate is the last born in a family of three; one sister and one brother. Her parents rely on subsistence farming for livelihood, which has been greatly affected by the changing climate. While in primary school, Emmaculate spent most of the time at home while the other students were at school. This was because of lack of finances to cater for some of the requirements at school. This did not stop her but instead propelled her towards achieving her dream of becoming a cardiologist in order to save lives. Her role model is Barack Obama and she likes his phrase of ‘Yes we can’. Moreover, she likes reading story books during her free time.

Despite being sent home due to school levies every now and then, she has remained resolved towards achieving her dream of becoming a teacher. Mutheu believes that knowledge is power and she wants to pass it to students to end illiteracy in the rural areas. She also wants to empower students to attain their dream careers and occupations so as to improve their livelihoods. During her free time, she likes to read novels.
