About

During my early life, I faced many difficulties, especially in education, but I tried all my best to maintain my school performance. I have no parents so I live with my guardians. They are economically poor. When I was selected to join A-Level, it was difficult to take the decision to attend because of the financial support problem. I came to school with little support from my guardians and other family members. In this life I have learned many things. The most important thing is that if you get the chance to go to school, do it even if you face many challenges. Nothing is impossible if you make the effort. When I completed my national examination, I scored division 1 with a grade A in Mathematics, my favorite subject. I am proud of that because my dreams are on the way. I was very happy to be selected to join Karatu Secondary School. I am sure that after two years from now I will be a university student studying engineering.

Hello Jenny. How do you fill when you are walking on the surface of the EARTH.The motions of bodies in the solar system are, for the most part, regular and understandable. From Earth, the Sun
rises in the eastern sky in the morning and sets in the western sky in the evening. If the Moon is full on Day 1, it
will be full again on Day 28, and new on Day 14. The motions of Earth relative to the Sun, and the motions of the
Moon and Sun relative to Earth affect different phenomena on Earth, including day and night, the seasons, tides, and
phases of the Moon.
Day-Night Cycle
Earth rotates once on its axis about every 24 hours. To an observer cooling down on the North Pole, the rotation
appears counterclockwise. From nearly all points on Earth, the Sun appears to move across the sky from east to west
each day. Of course, the Sun is not moving from east to west at all; Earth is rotating. The Moon and stars also seem
to rise in the east and set in the west.
Earth’s rotation means that there is a cycle of daylight and darkness approximately every 24 hours, the length of a
day. Different places experience sunset and sunrise at different times and the amount of time a location is in daylight
and darkness also differs by location.
Shadows are areas where an object obstructs a light source so that darkness takes on the form of the object. On
Earth, a shadow can be cast by the Sun, Moon or, rarely, Mercury or Venus
Hello Jenny,
My name is frank Mpika from Karatu high school. Thank you for writing to me. I would like to share with you a short story concerning with my experience in this month.
First I have enjoyed this moth due to the fact that many of my activities have gone well.
Within this month’s i have learnt several things but the important one is from my teacher who teaches me mathematics. He has taught me the science of reasoning in the topic known as LOGIC. I am so happy because i am able to judge what is true and what is wrong by testing if the statements given are true or have contradiction.
This knowledge is so important in our daily life especially when solving the problem of people who are in trouble to each other. After doing so everything will be good because all the problems will be solved scientifically by using this science of reasoning.
To my society i would teach people this knowledge in order to make problems especially conflicts to be solved scientifically by applying this science of reasoning, also to ensure that everyone gets his/her right.
Lastly i would like to thank my teacher for teaching me this topic which will be helpful in my daily life; also i would like to say that MATHEMATICS IS FOR EVERYTHING, no MATHEMATICS NO LIFE.
Thank you.
