About

My early life was full of challenges. This forced me to start primary school when I was old, not because I wanted to but because my family was not aware of the importance of school. They did not even go to primary school. The income of my family is very low compared to others. They fail to pay for my school expenses and they depend just on a small farm that cannot sustain our school and home needs. Although there are some difficult situations I must struggle to overcome, I will pay back our society by passing examinations. This would be my happy moment.

Hello Jenny. How are you. For sure I am quite good and i am on the way home for vocational break.please read with me the following Earth as a Planetary Body
Earth is an inner planet in the solar system and it is very much like the other inner planets, at least in its size, shape,
and composition. But many features make Earth very different from the planets and any other planet that we know
of so far.
Earth’s Shape
Earth is a sphere or, more correctly, an oblate spheroid, which is a sphere that is a bit squished down at the poles and
bulges a bit at the equator. Or to be more technical, the minor axis (the diameter through the poles) is smaller than
the major axis (the diameter through the equator). Half of the sphere is a hemisphere. North of the equator is the
northern hemisphere and south of the equator is the southern hemisphere. Eastern and western hemispheres are also
designated.
What evidence is there that Earth is spherical? What evidence was there before spaceships and satellites?
Try to design an experiment involving a ship and the ocean to show Earth is round. If you are standing on the shore
and a ship is going out to sea, the ship gets smaller as it moves further away from you but the ship’s bottom also
starts to disappear as the vessel goes around the arc of the planet There are many other ways that
early scientists and mariners knew that Earth was not flat.
Earth’s curvature is noticeable when objects
at a distance are below the arc.
Even the ancient Greeks knew that Earth was round by observing the arc shape of the shadow on the Moon during
a lunar eclipse. NASA has an animation of a lunar eclipse here:
The Sun and the other planets of the solar system are also spherical. Larger satellites, those that have enough mass
for their gravitational attraction to have made them round, are as well.
Earth’s Magnetism
Earth has a magnetic field that behaves as if the planet had a gigantic bar magnet inside of it. Earth’s
magnetic field also has a north and south pole and a magnetic field that surrounds it. The magnetic field arises from
the convection of molten iron and nickel metal in Earth’s outer liquid iron core.
Earth’s magnetic field extends several thousand kilometers into space. The magnetic field shields the planet from
harmful radiation from the sun.
Hello Jenny. How are you and thank you for knowing you through this journal. i also want to share a journal. It’s my journal of what I learnt while am at school in November 2017 ,First of all I learn t on how WORD ARE FORMED.Word formation is the process of building a word such as morpheme. However
any language is made of a small unit. Therefore morpheme is the smallest meaningful part word which can not subdivided any further without destroy its meaning.
ROOT is part of word excluding afixe.Forexmple a word nation
STEM is a part of word including an afixe.

Another things are concerning about READING BOOKS such as Novels, plays, poetries and the last is short story.Beginning with plays books including Betrayal In The City written by Francis Imbuga includes characters like mr Boss, Mulili, Doga, Nina, Jere Nicodemo, These characters have revealed the several themes such as tribalism, corruption, betrayal that are the evils taking place in the society in large which is bad things at all in contemporary community.

I would like to wish you the best and the God will bless you.

I am the only child of a single mother. She works as a casual laborer and this helps in putting food on our table. Secondary education in Kenya is very expensive and this would require extra source of income which is not available at the moment. We live in the slums of Kibera. This is the largest slum in Kenya and poverty rate is very high. I work hard in school with one ultimate goal, to break the cycle of poverty. They say education is the best way and I believe in this philosophy.

Ahmed Daud Osman is a 15 year old from Hargeisa, Somaliland. He was raised in the Hargeisa Orphanage, and enrolled at Abaarso School of Science and Technology two years ago. He is now entering the ninth grade and is excited to begin a new year. Ahmed’s favorite subjects are math and science. In the future, he wants to be a professor. “Somaliland has many universities, but the education is not good. I want to teach the adults,” he says. Ahmed is not only compassionate, but also deeply introspective. When asked what is the most important lesson he’s learned at Abaarso, he took a moment to reply. “I learned how to be patient when you meet challenges.”

I am from a nuclear family with poor economic status. We depend on a small plot of farm. Paying for my school needs is difficult. At the beginning of the first term of my school, I hoped to do better in my class and now I am. I worked with carpenters during the break in order to pay school requirements. It was difficult to keep reviewing in mind what we learned for the whole term. My father did not go to secondary school and he doesn't understand the value of education. My dream is to be an engineer I can reach this by learning good skills.
