Emmanuel is the only child in his family. His mother is a single parent and has abandoned Emmanuel leaving him with his grandparents. His grandmother is very sick and on a wheelchair. His grandfather who is unemployed, struggles to take care of his ailing wife and Emmanuel. Despite the challenges he faced, he beat all odds and emerged to be the top student in his school. Emmanuel aspires to be a nurse to take care of the sick people just like his grandmother. He believes in working smart; not hard. He enjoys playing football.

I humbly want to take this great opportunity to really thank you for your great contribution towards assisting me achieve my dreams. My life has been fantastic due to you donors for helping me take great steps to attaining my goals. You are the biggest key models of my life for you have really given my life a meaning through your love,mentorship and charity. Truly,the world smiles because of people like you. I also have been trying to make the world a better place through doing my best in academics and co-curricular activities. His parents are unemployed and only depend on casual jobs to cater for the needs of their family. Regardless of him sleeping without food, he toiled so hard to pass his examinations. His parents deserted the family and he and his siblings are currently living with their aged grandmother who is unable to work. Davis is a determined young boy who wants to be a meteorologist to fulfill his desire of understanding the earth’s atmospheric phenomena as well as uplift his family from poverty. The encouraging words from his grandmother have propelled him to pursue his dreams and he believes that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He likes playing football during his free time.
