Renata is an excellent student and has regularly achieved very high grades. She loves music, singing and football, and is a keen reader. As her mum works guarding cars in the street, Renata often also does her homework outdoors by the side of the road.

I've got on very well this term. I achieved high marks and got good results for my homework and my behaviour. Thank you to the Condor Trust and the School Fund for your support. I feel I'm doing better every day. Thank you!

The new school year has begun well for me, although we are having a lot of problems with electricity cuts and, a few weeks ago, bad fires near Quito which made it difficult to breathe. Thank you to The School Fund for your help. I am very grateful for this chance.

    Kelvin is a young student whose father has abandoned him, his brother, and his mother. She had an obstetric fistula from giving birth that made it very difficult for her to work. Kelvin is close with his grandparents but his mother struggles to keep the family housed and there are days they only have one meal. He wants to succeed in school along with his brother.
