About

Rehema attends Kondoa Girls A-level School. When I was young, I suffered from a disease for two years but because my parents were poor and less educated people, they did not take me to the hospital. With the help of God I succeeded in getting a scholarship from my neighbors and was taken to the hospital. From these difficulties I learned that education is the most basic thing that can help people solve their problems. My dream is to become a doctor one day. The only way I can reach that is by studying hard and listening to good advice from my guardians. The happiest moment in my life was to join The School Fund because they support my education. I feel good and proud of being a member of The School Fund. Four years from now, I want to be in university-level education to reach my dream.

Hi everyone!,
I hope you're all doing fine.
Today I would love to share with you some thoughts.
First thing I wish you should know is that working hard is the only thing that makes anyone survive until the fair game finishes.
I like to remind you there's no trouble without clues and there's no one trapped unless that person
might be the first one to enter that trap. Pray even harder that you shouldn't lose hope and get into trap while remembering that in every success there must be some challenges to go through together with number of clues too.
I know even in schools sometimes it seems so tough but you got to be so strong in each thing you're dreaming and doing too.
Here I can finally say that there is nothing simple without simplifications so we can make simple thing complex sometimes through complicated thoughts if we are not carefully.

Thanks.

Dear Jenny:
I thank you for your invitation to TSFTZ Family and I hope to get there soon.
As long as I love the career, especially to volunteer, I'll be happy when the time to work with you reaches.
I wish to say thank you for your consideration too, by saying that you're looking forward to work with us.
I'd like to volunteer too but still waiting for you to direct me how can I get connected to you so that we get to work together.I'd like to be aware of what kind of person do you need in terms of career so that I can know if I can satisfy the position. Another thing I would like to know is that what if I want to volunteer for temporary time for the while am having holidays?. Is it allowed so?. If yes, can I join you anytime I'm free?.
Thank you.

Rehema John.
Dear students:

Welcome to TSFTZ family!

My name is Jenny Chen, I am a retired software engineer. I work for TSFTZ as a volunteer staff. In 1976 I came to United States from Taiwan to study Math. I live in San Francisco area most of the time with my grownup children close by. However I travel back to Taiwan very often since most of my family members are still there.

Education helps me achieve my current good living standard. I echo TSF’s motto: “Education is an investment in the future”. Our team is devoted to help school-aged children stay in school, especially girls’ education. We encourage our students to write to us so we get to know each other better. We read each journal entry enthusiastically and response accordingly because we CARE.

TSFTZ team expects each sponsored student study hard and be successful! It is my privilege to write to you. I am looking forward to work with you.

I was introduced to the school fund recently and I really like the oppounrity to meet students in Africa.

I would love to hear from you about your families and your studying.
I know you are in an all girl school. I attended all girl schools myself and I loved it.
It gave me more opportunities to learn to be a leader.
I made many good friends there. Are you making friends at school.

Please write back and I would love to hear your stories.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
