Doricas attends Vwama A-level School. The most difficult experience of my life was when my daddy passed away after suffering for almost three years. I was so sad because he helped me to get my basic needs. Now I live with my mother and have learned that a single parent has a tough life. When I was young I dreamed of being a doctor and now I see my dream could come true. My Form 4 National exam results encourage me to continue to study science subjects. I hope I will become a doctor. The following ways can help me to get there. One is by studying hard. I must work hard in my studies in order to perform well in all subjects and listening to people who have already succeeded. And after being a doctor, I will help people.

how are you.I thank to God am going well an am expecting to join with A-level studies on july this year because my results of completed form four are allow me to going on with advance studies.In this long break am trying to think more and to ask to succesfull people on ways which can help me to reach my goals even if i have some ways but i still need other ways from different people inoder to get high more result in form six final exam i hope i will pass well.

Time goes by quickly, couple weeks from now this semester will be end. I think you all busy with your final exam. Please let me know how are you doing this semester.
I have been very busy myself.I attended couple conferences. It will help me to operate TSF more effectively.
I know writing is a key to be successful. I would like encourage you to write during your coming winter break. I am very interested to know what you will do during your break. When you back to school. I would like your to write that in your journal or write to me, so I will know each of you better.

The school started almost two month ago. I am very glad you are working very hard and doing very well. Keep the good work. I am very happy I could help to support your uniform, school supplies, books and food allowance. I would love to hear from you how are doing at school, any subject your are most interesting. Try go to computer center study the subject from the RACHEL PI. It has all the things you would like to know. I am buying more computers for the center, so you could spend more time at to study from the RACHEL PI. Let me know there are anything I could help you better. My name is Jenny Chen, I am a retired software engineer. I work for TSFTZ as a volunteer staff. In 1976 I came to United States from Taiwan to study Math. I live in San Francisco area most of the time with my grownup children close by. However I travel back to Taiwan very often since most of my family members are still there.

Education helps me achieve my current good living standard. I echo TSF’s motto: “Education is an investment in the future”. Our team is devoted to help school-aged children stay in school, especially girls’ education. We encourage our students to write to us so we get to know each other better. We read each journal entry enthusiastically and response accordingly because we CARE.

hope you are fine,also am okay and am going well with my studies,am a student of form four at Lugalo secondary school i expecting to do the final exam in order to complete o level studies on next month.I hope i will perform well because i have prepared enough with my studies,i study science subjects that is why i want to be a doctor,My most favorite subjects are biology and mathematics i like these subjects because as biology help to know myself body and so on also mathematics can help me in my daily life for example in math we study accounts,accounts can help me on how can i keep money and use them well so through these subjects i know a lot of things in my daily life.Lastly i thank to GOD and to you Judy for help to be here where i am GOD bless you and give you a long life.

It is nice to see most of you already went to the computer center to update your journal. I know all of you had a great break. It is already half way on in your second semester. Two more months before this school year is going to end. I wish you all to try your best. I know you all can do it.

In your summer assignment you wrote that you will study hard so you could reach your dream. It is true that your future is in your own hands, and your own destination is how you are going to work on your goals and reach them. People could recommend that you do some things and they can help you in some way, but you are the only person that can make the your dream come true. Any step you take, you are one step close to your dream. I want to see you all work hard to reach your next destination.

As the people who fund your education we want to know you. The only way we have to know you are through your journals.

Please write in your journal, so that we can know you better. You can write about your daily life, your school, your friends, what subjects you are studying now. What is your favorite subject and why do you like it, and so on. We want to know your hopes and dreams. Or write us anything at all that you want us to know about.

I want you all to be outstanding people in my mind, each of you separate and special. If you are just a name in a group, there is no way for me to know you.

I know some of you are going to have your National Exam. I pray for you and wish you the best.
When I was your age. I was the same as you.. I worked for everything I needed and wanted.
I never gave up. I knew if I just tried hard and never lost my hope that I would make it.

I did talk to Mr. Amos, and Mr. Paulo, they said MMM center (computer center) will be open any time. You can drop by to study the subject you are interested in from the RACHEL PI.

Everybody can be successful if they are self learners. The more knowledge you have the more successful you will be. Everything on this earth comes and goes, only an Education will be with you and nobody can take it away from you.

    The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.

    I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

    Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
