Dear Sponsors,

Greetings to you all in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. I'm hoping you are all fine together with your families. As for me, I'm fine and everything here is okay.

Talking about my academic school program at school, we are okay because this term is the last one in grade eight. Next year I will be going into examinations class which is grade nine. I am very sure to continue with my good performance even though some subjects are still difficult for me.

Away from school, on the 24th of October, 2104 we were celebrating the Zambian Golden Jubilee at the National Hero's Stadium. I even took part in the performance and it was really nice dancing in from of a very big crowd which came to support me and my fellow friends. Even members of parliament, and the first President of Zambia came to celebrate. I was really honored and humbled because I never expected them to be there.

That is all I have for you today. May the Lord be with you forever and ever.

Yours, Beatrice Phiri
Dear Beatrice -

My children also had chicken pox when they were younger; I hope that it did not keep you out of school too long.

Recently, my husband retired after 40 years with his company and we were able to take a holiday in the cool mountains away from the heat and humidity of our town. We saw big schools and very small schools as we traveled - it is the season of learning!

Praying that you have a very good school term,
**Katy Manck
Dear sponsors,

How are you? By this time of moment I hope that you are all right with your families. Back to my side, I am just ok, am just recovering from chicken pox.

The main point of writing this letter is that I am just thanking you for the things that you have been doing for me and my fellow friends. I also want to tell you that school, speeding in school not forgetting about you every time and is going very well despairing hard, but not forgetting about you every time.

I think of you when I was asking God to look after you in everything you do and bless you so that you will continue with your kind heart.

Thank you sponsors
Dear Beatrice -

How exciting that you were able to help with the Miss Ngombe 2014 competition! I am sure that those young ladies were happy to have your assistance.

Here in the USA, the school term will soon begin. My grandchildren look forward to seeing their friends again after the summer holiday and will all have new challenges as they move into a new school grade.

Remain strong in your beliefs and in your purpose for studying!
God's blessings on you and your classmates,
**Katy Manck
Dear Sponsors,

Greetings to you all in the name of our lord savior Jesus Christ. I hope that you are fine back to me here I am still surviving by God’s grace and I thank Jehovah God for his blessings.

First and foremost I want to thank you for the help and support you are giving to me may the almighty Jehovah God continue blessing you and may he add more days to your life. Coming to the issue of school, I can say that I truly enjoy my lessons at school and this term was a very good term for me because I have been busy studying and going through my previous task in order for me not to be forgetting the things we have been taught.

Moreover on 19th of July 2014 at our school we had a variety show which was held on order to fundraise for the new
project of constructing some new classes. The variety show was lovely and nice because we had a lot of funny and we had different activities which included culture dance, modeling, eating competition, as well as singing and I am proud to say that they also choose Miss Ngombe 2014 and I take part in putting the make-up of those people who were participating in the competition of Miss Ngombe.

In conclusion, I wold just ask you to continue giving me the support so that I continue with my studies and may you continue showing me your kind heart.

Yours,
Beatrice.

Dear Beatrice -

Thank you so much for sharing your Jubilee poem with us! I agree that we must work hard so that we may enjoy the benefits of our freedom.

Enjoy your new subjects in the next school term. I am glad that you also had time to cultivate your spiritual growth recently - those things which we learn as young people are roots from which our adult habits bloom.

Blessings and peace,
**Katy Manck
Dear Sponsors,

I greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ hoping that you are fine together with your families. Back to me, here we are still being kept by God's grace.

i would love to tell you about the way I spend my first term at school in grade 8, how the tests were, and how I spent my holiday. First and for most coming to the point, my term 1 of grade 8 was very interesting because I had to get used to the new subjects like geography, civics, business studies, history, music and ICT. I was very excited to start learning new things also the teachers in grade 8 were very nice to us such that they encouraged us to work hard and put more effort. The tests were just fair and I did my level best.

Hence during the holiday I spent my holiday very wisely because I used to spend most of my time studying and updating my notes in some subjects which I was behind. During the holiday we also had a convention at our religion where I also benefited in terms of spiritual things. The meetings we had were very encouraging and I personally was encouraged to be very strong in spiritual matters more especially these last day which we are living in.

Yours faithfully

A Poem for Independence Day

Freedom freedom freedom
Yes we have freedom
Indeed freedom to live in our mother land
Freedom to live in our homes
Freedom to make choices about leaders we need
Zambia is our mother land
Zambia is our home and Zambia is our pride
But my brother and my sister
Freedom is meaningless
Freedom if we do not work hard
Freedom is meaningless if there is poverty so lets develop our nation
Lets reap the benefits of our Independence
Dear Beatrice -

How exciting that your school will be participating in the Jubilee celebrations! Perhaps you can share an independence poem with us here on your SchoolFund journal when you tell us about it.

Enjoy your classes, and keep writing! My grandmother was a journalist, and she said that the best way to become a better writer was to write, edit your work, and read other writers.

Blessings,
**Katy Manck
Hello,

I want you to know that school i just okay and I enjoy my teachers.

This year is the best year for Zambia because it's the year of Jubilee. Zambia will be celebrating 50 years so the celebrations will be so exciting. Perhaps N'gombe PTA school was selected among the schools in Zambia to be part of the celebrations. We will go to the government house and present them with some independence songs and poems.

However, thank you very much for making it possible for me to be in school. I could not do it without you. I will continue praying for you.

God bless you!!

However school is ok and I enjoy my teachers. My best subjects are history and English. When I complete school I want to become a journalist because i want to speak for the speechless.

May God richly bless you!

i wish you all the best.
Dear Katherine,

How are you by this moment. I hope you are fine. Back here, I am fine.

The main point of writing this letter to you is to show my appreciation for the support you are giving me. You asked about the subject I enjoy at school. I would say that as of now, my favorite of all is environmental science and English. And these are two subjects I am good at. But I want to promise you that I am trying to work hard in all the subjects so that I can do better next year in my final exams.

Thanks again for everything.

Yours faithfully,

Beatrice Phiri

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
