About
Rolando is studying mechanics at the Senati Institute in Cusco, Peru. He has impressed Mosqoy volunteers by maintaining strong grades even though he is enrolled in a highly competitive program at the best mechanics institute in Cusco. In order to attend post-secondary school, many students from rural highland communities in Peru must move to the city for the first time. In order to maintain stability and a sense of community, Mosqoy provides students with a home to stay in together in Cusco called "Casa Mosqoy." Rolando has been very polite to other students and helpful to the volunteers working at Casa Mosqoy. During Rolando's stay at Casa Mosqoy some of his additional sponsors were able to visit him in August, which he was very excited about.
