About

Isaac is the fourth born child in a family of six children. He has a twin brother called Muinde Nzingi. Their parents are divorced and have deserted the children. The children live with a guardian (Florence) who takes care of them. The main challenge is that the guardian family has a big family of their own (comprised of seven children) to fend for therefore limiting their ability to support these adopted children. The first and the second born brothers of Isaac completed form four in 2014 through support of well-wishers. The third born is currently in form four at the Mbaikini School and is supported by the guardian family. Isaac did his primary exam in 2014 and passed well with 359 marks and has been admitted at The Mbaikini school. Isaac is a very bright and is among the best top performing students. He is very determined to join secondary school and study hard to be an accountant in future.

Hello? I hope that you are fine. I am also fine.
We came to the end of the term on 6th April. The term was fine and full of activities. During this term I managed to play my favorite game that is handball although we did not make to the highest level.
During the holiday I am planning to help my guardians in the shamdas (farm work) and at any other part of need. Also I want to peruse my books and make an effort of masking my dreams come true.
I want to express my gratitude for your support towards my education. May God bless you. Good bye!

Hello? How have you been? I have been fine and still pressing hard on academics so as to better my future. The school term was really short of about two months as compared to the other two which take about three months and half and so busy for we had to cover the syllabus as recommended by the ministry.
We have gone for a very long holiday of about more than two months. This has been brought by the political issue that is affecting our country. I know that you might be aware of the situation.
With the long holiday I am planing to utilize every minute to peruse my previous grades' work and also for the next grade that I am to join next year. Also I will help my guardians to plough the farms as we are heading to the rainy season.
Lastly, I want to wish you a Marry Christmas and Happy New Year 2018 and let God shower you with his blessings. God bless you for your continuous support towards my education.
Thank you.
Bye!

Hello? How are you? Hope that you are fine. I am fine too. The holiday was fine with a lot of activities such as general election and access summer intensive program.
The elections were fine although the opposition party disagreed with the final declaration on the ongoing president as the winner and they went to supreme court as stated in the court. We Kenyans hope that the court will prevail justice.
In the Access Summer Intensive program at Malimdi (one of the coastal towns of kenya) was very educative and motivating. I learned a lot and actually it built me.
We are resuming back our school for third term tomorrow on 29th August, 2017. I am focused to complete grade 11 syllabus and begin that of grade 12.
I know that your can not close your hand towards my education. Thank you for your continued support. May God bless you all. Greet your family.
Thank you.
Bye.

Hello Isaac!
I am just seeing your message from May 2. I hope that your studies are going well and you are learning things that are interesting to you!
The students here in Maryland, USA are on a break for the summer now. This means my children and myself (since I am a teacher) have no school until September.
Isaac, I am very excited that my friend Sharon (who you may have met) and some other friends are leaving to visit Kenya this week! I hope that your paths cross and you are able to see Sharon and the others! It sure brings our worlds closer!
I am hoping to send something to you through Sharon. Maybe someday I can deliver something to you myself!
Isaac, may God bless you. It is so good to know He loves us and cares for us.

Until next time,
Nicole
Dear Isaac,

Best of luck to you as you begin your new school term today! I hope your classes are interesting and that you continue to work hard and do well as you move toward your goals.

I am a teacher in Maryland, and this week is the beginning of a series of college placement exams for many of our students, so they are working hard too! As I write, I am supervising students taking a Computer Science exam.

I am glad you were able to go on various field trips with Kenya Connect over your holiday. I was able to visit the Nairobi National Park when I came to work at the LRC in July 2015, and we also saw a couple of rhinos. It's amazing to me that these incredible animals all live together in that large reserve so close to the city!

Wishing you all the best,

Katie Baughman (Mwende)

Hi? I hope you are fine? I am fine too. I am journaling to you today to inform you that we will be resuming our studies today on 2nd May, 2017. We will be starting our second school term of the year.

The holiday was fine and a busy one. During the holiday some TSF Students went to Karura Forest for a retreat where we enjoyed and learned much. Also the Access student too went to Nairobi National Park where we made a view over the wildlife and the day was nicknamed as Rhinos' Day for we came across many rhinos.

The Labour Day was good and fine. The president made good speeches which pleased most Kenyans.

I am grateful to God for his care and protection over the course of the holiday. I am also grateful to you for your support in my education. God bless you all.
Bye.

Hi? how are you? i hope you are fine. I am fine too. I am glad to journal to you informing you on how I am doing. We have just come to the end of our first school term today on 6th April, 2017. The term was busy with full of curricular and co-curricular activities.
During the term my friend and I attended a Science and Engineering fair at a girl school near our school. Our project was on technology where we wanted to invent an office disturbance controller system which is aimed at controlling office disturbance and enhance efficiency in the working of the office. We managed to attain position six out of 37 although we did not proceed to the next level.
During the holiday I am planning to aid my guardians in farm work as it is a planting season in our country. Also I want to revise hard on my studies to b e ahead of the teacher.
I am grateful for your support towards my education for I have been comfortable in school. I want to wish you a happy Ester. God bless you all.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
