About

Mutisya is the third born child in a family of four children. His parents are divorced. Mutisya's mother takes care of his siblings single handedly since the father remarried and stopped taking care of the family. In 2012 Mutisya was adopted by their church pastor who took care of him as he went through primary school in Mwaasua Primary School. Mutisya passed well his primary exam with 339 marks and has been admitted at Masii Boys secondary school. His mother works as a casual cleaner in Wamunyu and lives in a rented house, as they have no home of their own. The firstborn girl in the family completed form four but never got any meaningful job. She works as a house help to supplement her mother little income to support the family. The second born in the family is a girl who is a first year student at Maseno University while Kelvin their last-born is in class six at Wamunyu Primary School. With the big family burden on her shoulders, Mutisya's mother is unable to support her son to gain secondary education. Mutisya is a very bright and determined student and for him gaining a strong education is his only hope for a good future.

Hi Melissa!
I am so happy to hear from you. I am doing fine though back home due to an ongoing teachers strike in our country. I am always happy to have wonderful people like you in my life . Thank you so much for your moral and material support towards my education. I like playing the keyboard so much, in fact Learning how to play the keyboard isn’t hard. You just need to have your keyboard near and just think of a song that you know very well then practice playing the notes. What I can tell you is that practice makes perfect.
Pass my warm regards to your family.
May the almighty God shower blessings to you.
Have a nice stay.

Mike Mutisya.

Hi Aziza,
Thank you so much for your journal. To answer your question I believe that in the beginning God created man and breathed life through his nostrils and man begun to breath and life started. Life then originated from heaven when God created man and from Man He created a Woman. I have learned from history than Man evolved from Apes but I don't believe in this theory. What is your believe? We will be opening school tomorrow so I may not be able to answer your journals as we lack computers in school. Hope you study hard and achieve your dreams.

Mutisya
Hello friend,
am Aziza from Karatu and I have a problem,,,,,,
may you please tell me where and when the life originate?
with hope that you will answer me I send this beautiful picture for you.....
Hi friends,

I am always grateful to everyone who is making my stay in school comfortable. If it were not for your support i would not have set foot in High School. Challenges aside, i am determined to achieve my dream of becoming an engineer in future and i know that without education i can not achieve this. As they say education opens opportunities and i am confident that in future i will break out of the yokes of poverty. Many deserving children fail to achieve their goals due to lack of education and my heart cries for them. I will support many children in future to attain education in order to create an independent society.

We are now on vacation that will last for three weeks. We shall resume back to school on 5th May. During the vacation i will not sit back and relax but i will revise my notes. I have been visiting Kenya Connect LRC to borrow books and also read magazines to improve my English language skills.

I will always work hard in school in order to achieve my dreams.

Regards to all
Mutisya

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
