About

My dream is to become an accountant and I will get there by studying hard. The moment that I felt proud of myself is when I learned that I passed the Standard 7 National Exams. The happiest moment in my life is when I was selected by the Ebenezer Seminary for my secondary school education. The most difficult experience I had is the death of my my best friend. He died of malaria. Malaria is a disease that can be treated. My friend could be alive if he got proper medical treatment. I learn from his death that we need to help our poor friends with their basic needs. I plan to help the orphans to make sure they can reach their dreams as I will. I will also contribute some of my salary to help the disabled people after my dream comes true.

Hi TSF Students,
It is my hope that each of you is well continuing with his or her activities as we are approaching the last days of the second semester. We all know that the time is not enough for us as some of us are about to sit for the National Examinations soon. Moreover for those fellows of mine have got the Annual Exams. This message is strongly directed to my fellow students of whom are expecting to sit for the Annual Exams this year.
Some days before we had our fellow students who sat for the National Exams as Form Fours. This means they are no longer the Form Fours but we are.We might think that time is enough while it isn't. The days are numbered and therefore we have to struggle and run with them.Let us try to pull up our socks as we will be
filtered if we fail.
In connection to that,i advise you to pray for the TSF Team as they are helping us enough in reducing the burden to our parents. From my side i say may my Almighty God be with you TSF Team.Good night guys and i wish you MARVELOUS sleep.!!!!!!!!!
Hi Jonathan,
I am glad that you have got such favorite quotes of wisdom you do live through.I also have got some to share with you as you like taking knowledge from different people.

1)Your future is created today.
This is one of the things that a missioned person has to know. The future of each and everybody is within his or her hands and he is the one to decide what to do so as to reach his dreams. You have to know that failing to plan is planning to fail.

2)Never give up.
One among the things which may hinder the personal development is giving up.The accomplishment of ones missions needs self esteem. Therefore i advice you to appreciate yourself.

3)Personal Confidence is important.
The pillar of one's success is personal confidence.Being confident especially in front of people may create the best of your future and help you in the matter of leadership. You are superior, trust yourself.

4)Try your level best to make a difference.
As a targeted person, you have to be very different from other people's ways.It is true that having a role model is very important, but as a person you have to be somehow different from others.Remember difference creates the best of your goals.

5)Practice makes perfect.
Getting in practice may help you to increase the knowledge on something and hence getting to a point of perfection. From today try to practice what you dream to become.

6)Sometimes listen to the people's comments on you.
Comments are important but not all comments will be the same to what you trust. You have to filter up what is true and what is not true and hence you will be in a good point of succeeding.

7)Don't let people's thoughts change your ambition.
People are sometimes true and vice versa is correct. You have to know that a single person can destroy your future if you are not careful.Take people's thoughts but do not let other people's thoughts change your belief.

I have a lot to say but take this as a first gift. "I AM A BANK OF QUOTES".
Have a fantastic day!!!!!
Hi Madam Judy,
It is my hope that you are doing well with your activities as i do.I am also sure that you enjoyed enough being in Tanzania.I am writing this to you as a response to what you said.
We as the school fund students had a plan of establishing the Academic Clubs where we could share the knowledge we have with each of us.Your journal has come as an inspiration spirit and we promise not to let you down in the issue of challenging each other in Maths.
Also the issue of debate participation is very important to us as it increases personal confidence and improves our speaking skills. Moreover the listening and reading skills are improved through such participation. What i tell you is that i will make sure that i strongly participate in such debates internally and externally.
I lastly want to thank you for the help you do help us.You have provided for us the RACHEL PLUS that helps in searching materials. You also pay our school fees a thing that reduces the burden to our parents.I also appreciate the presence of the US Team as you postponed your activities and came to visit us though you do not expect getting anything from us after we achieve our dreams.May God give you of the best in the world and create the best of your eternity.Keep in touch we are familiar.!!!
Dear Students,

I love to collect wisdom from different sources that are meaningful to me.
Below are a few of my favorites that I would like to share with you:

1) When you master your emotions, you master your life
Anger. This is one emotion that is sure to pop up sometime during the day. How you deal with your anger says a lot about who you are as a person. How well do you manage your emotions? Do you have a harsh reaction if someone says something insulting to you? Anger can be a destructive emotion if not managed properly.

2) Respect other people’s opinions even when they differ from your own.

Conflict. It’s rare that two people agree on most topics. Conflict is everywhere. It happens at work, home, with family and friends. Disagreeing isn’t the problem (although most people think it is). The problem is not giving value to the opinions of others.

3) Experience The Joy Of Learning
Each time you learn something new you gain more knowledge and with more knowledge come more confidence. Learning helps us become more adaptable and flexible to new situations. Learning encourages us to be more creative and innovative in our thinking and we are therefore more comfortable with the unknown.
Reading books is a great way for us to learn. To fully embrace the joy of learning, never stop reading and searching for more knowledge.

4) Touch someone’s soul with your kindness
Random Acts of Kindness. It’s the little things in life that matter most. Hold a door, smile at people. Kindness does not cost much and it touches the soul of another person.

5) Speech is a powerful tool.
Your words. Watch your words carefully. They can be daggers or building blocks. You can crush the spirit of someone or make them feel like they can conquer the world. Taste your words before you spit them out. Words are your thoughts coming to life. It’s your choice.

What are your favorite quotes and wisdom to live by? I’d love to hear your thought on that.
Cheers,
Jonathan Gilbert
Hi Judy,
It is my pleasure to know that you really enjoyed being in Tanzania especially at IRINGA. It is one among the beautiful regions all over Tanzania though it has not yet become the city. From my side i really appreciate your presence and attendance to all of the meetings we met.I was really excited to see you and your team attending the sessions with us.You really do care of us as you left all of your activities for an issue which in most people is seen as useless.I play to the Almighty God that he can give you the best life in the world and create the marvelous eternity as well for we are dust and to dust we will return.

I also would like to appreciate your help to us as you have funded our education without the expectation of gaining anything from us.This surely differentiates you from a number of people all over the world as they do spend their richness in bad things. You are one among the God's messengers as he has sent you to us.For this reason i surely need to speak this from the bottom most part of my heart that may my Almighty God bless you forever.

We really enjoy the RACHEL PLUS system network in our computers as it helps us in extracting materials from the network. As The School Fund Manager you have made us very digital as we use the computers in learning and communicating as well.I really promise not to disappoint you so that you may one day be proud of me and i be proud of you.A lot of thanks to the TSF Team and the US Team as well.May God give you 100 times on the earth and the best in the eternal life.

May God be with you and have a marvelous day!!!!
Hello students,

I finally got back to the US last week.
It has been a very long trip to Tanzania this year total three weeks.

I was very happy to meet all of you and know everyone better.

My trip started from Karatu. I visited 5 schools in Karatu and I learn where do you go to school every day.

I am very happy to know all of you are doing well and every of you has a dream that you want to be successful one day. I encourage all of you to try your best to reach you own destination.

The get together was so well prepared and done by each of you. I am very happy to saw all your science presentations and poems you wrote to TSF and me. I will treasure them all my life.

I can say I am very proud to all of you. Keep up the good work I want to see each of you one day get to
good University/College to reach your own dream.

After Karatu, I went to ARUSHA attended the TED Global conference and visited couple schools in ARUSHA.
I enjoyed the TED conference this year. It was focused on the Africa, specially in agriculture, health and education.

Mr. Amos was a volunteer there, he had great experience being this Global conference and met people from around the world.
He had a life experience at the conference, where he was able to meet a group of bright inventive and talented group of people.

Later I went to Iringa. Iringa almost the second hometown for me. I have been there six times.
I visited all 8 schools in Iringa and meet all of you in person. I was very happy to meet you.

I had a great time at the get together party. All of you did a wonderful presentation. I am very happy to know all of you had fun that night.

My this year Tanzania trip was set MMM computer center for most of the 13 TSF schools.
At Iringa, We build total 5 new computer center in Iringa girls, Klerruu, Lugalo, Ebenezer, Miyomgoni and Update one MMM center at Ummusalama. We build one new computer center at Karatu Secondary School and update one MMM center at Ganako.

I am very proud of building the MMM computer center in most of the TSF schools. I really want all of you to go to the computer center to learn every subject you are interested from the RACHEL PLUS.
In the future everyone work will be on the computer. I hope that every single of you tell me what do you learn from the RACHEL PLUS.
I would like you could to start the debate team in your school so you all could practice how to speak in the public. Have the Math Club and challenge each other on the Math.

They will all benefit your long-term confidence.

I hope I will hear from all of you soon.
Hello Students!

I wanted to write to say hello to you all and to ask how your school year is going?

Almost all of the United States has been watching and reading about the hurricane that came ashore in the state of Texas last week, bringing very large amounts of rain up to 52 inches in 3 days. They had named the storm
My fellow student:

Welcome back to school! This is a new semester, it is time for new goals. new ideas and new learning.
At end of last semester, I wrote to you to write to me about the most remarkable or important thing that happened to you during your holiday! I am looking forward to reading your reply when you next write your journal.. Now while I really interested in what are you taking this year what will be your favorite subjects.

Knowledge will give you the power to be known you must read everything you can the more you know the more valuable you will be as a person and to your society.

I am coming to Tanzania at end of August and beginning the September.
I am looking forward to seeing you all.

Have fun and stay focuse! Best wish for all of you!
Hi Judy,
It is a long time since i wrote to you a journal.I firstly want to apologize to you that i have been serious not in replying the journals you do send.I can say that this is because of a fact that we are lacking the internet source in our school a reason which contributes enough in the failure of fast replying to your journals. All the time throughout we have been using the teacher's phones which seem to be very limited. Therefore we sometimes fail to post these journals to you due to such a reason.
I previously heard that you are now expecting to come in Tanzania and you are in need of seeing us.I am glad to hear such the news as i was waiting for your visit in Tanzania.I am now writing on behalf of my fellow students that we are expecting to be there soon after we are allowed. Therefore, we are well prepared to receive you and you are warmly welcomed.Be blessed and have a marvelous journey.
Hi Karen,
I am glad that madam Judy is coming to visit us as it was one among the things i have been waiting for a long time.We have prepared a lot to receive her as she might be a guest to the Tanzanian environment much more than us.We surely expect that we are going to do the best thing as you have made us to prepare enough. As we all believe in God,we trust that we are going to be the most best students she has never seen.
I also want to apologize to you as we have not been faithful to reply your posts. This is because we lack the Internet Source in our school as we have been using the teacher's phones in updating our journals. Thus we ask for the internet source to be brought in our school for us if possible.I lastly want to thank you for your help which you have given us as it is just a privilege and we promise not to disappoint you.Looking forward to hear from you and i wish you a marvelous day.
Hello Brend,
I am very fine continuing well with my studies at school though i am facing the severe busy because of many exams as i am about to be a Form Four Student. When i was at home i tried my level best to prepare for the second semester as i found myself dropping down due to getting a lot of activities including leadership. Therefore i tried to involve in some inspirational speeches which encouraged me enough and helped me to know the ways to use so as to increase my academic performance. Thus i am now about to get in the Midterm Examinations which will start in this week. When i will receive back the results i will inform you and i promise you that i am going to get back in my position and if possible better than how i was.Keep in touch and be blessed a lot.
Hello students! My name is Brend and I am 17 years old. I know school has once again started. Likewise, my school is also starting soon, in 2 weeks in fact! How did you spend your break? What are you excited to learn this new semester? Many blessings!

Brend
Hi School Fund student

How are you? How is the new school year so far?

Do you have pets? Do you love animals? I do. I am a devoted animal person. I have a 14 years old dog. Her name is Mabel. We have had her since she was 7 years old. Prior to that she lived with my daughter. My daughter was too busy to take care of her. So the dog came to live with us. She brought a lot of happiness to my husband and myself.

I have been volunteering to a cat rescue group since 2009. Because I am allergic to cats (cats make me sneeze), I cannot involve in taking care of the cats. I can only answer phone calls for this group. People will call us when they want to adopt a cat, or they need to surrender the cat When they can no longer take care of them. They also call us when they find an abandoned cat. This cat group is in Massachusetts. The winter is very cold there. The temperature can drop down below zero degree. The abandoned cat cannot survive in such cold weather. We will go and rescue these cats. We also help people to find their lost cat. I enjoy working with the volunteers in his group. They are very nice and so dedicated to helping those cats in need.

I hope you have fun studying for the school work. I will write to you next month.

Please write back.

Until next time,
Indy

My fellow students, time just flew so fast. This semester is close to its end. You all must be very busy preparing for your final exams.

I hope you are all doing a great job this semester. Some of you graduated at end of the last year. You must very anxious waiting for your notification which A-level school you are assigned to.

Doesn't matter where you are going, the most important is the goals your set and your determination to accomplish your golds.

The Chinese always say 90% is hard work and only 10% is your talent. You could accomplish everything as long as you want to.

During your break, I would like you to write down what your major accomplishing and one thing which makes you proud of yourself that you would like to share with everybody. The things your did which will make me so proud of you and encourage me to continue to support you for your future school years. My goal for all of you, one day for your to go to College/University, You are somebody everybody will proud of you.

The way to do is that you set your final goal, the goal between one step a time and try reach it then go for the next goal, eventually, you will reach your final destination.

Judy

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
