About

Florindo was born in Sofala province. He is very humble and loves to play with children of his age, especially playing football in the afternoon when returning from school. He is orphaned of parents. In 2008, his father passed away due to illness. He went to live with his mother in company of his older sister, and his newborn sister. In December 2011, his mother also died victim of illness; leaving the boy and two sisters alone. Florindo, along with his older sister, was adopted by the pastor of the church his mother used to attend, while his younger sister was only 2 years old and was adopted by another family that worships at the same church. As the pastor is of old age, he would like to finish his studies as quick as possible and learn a trade; his dream is to reunite his sisters together with him to take care of them. "

Dear Sponsors,
It is with great pleasure that I can greet you and your family.
I wish you all are well, despite this pandemic of Covid-19. To say that when the pandemic was detected in Mozambique it prevented us from attending face-to-face classes and forcing us to stay at home in quarantine. I was a little sad, but thanks to your support, I was able to study with the brochures given to us at school. Since the 1st of October, we have the face-to-face classes again, this was great news, the classes are going on normally despite having to spend a lot of time with a mask. It is the best prevention advice that Health Authorities has informed us, the hygiene and social distance. The use of the mask is mandatory, I am dedicating myself very well and, in the future, I hope that the cure for this pandemic can be found. My biggest dream is to become a lawyer in order to defend people in need.
My thanks to God, to you and your family for the support you have given me.
