About

I live with my parents. My life started to be hard after my father and mother separated. He does not give us support for basic needs, such as clothes and school fees. As a result, my mother must engage in small business such as selling soup and cassava at the market so as to care for our family. She earns very little money. Since we are a family of eight members, it is difficult for my mother to pay my school fees and buy my uniform. I used to get assistance from my uncle, he helped me to buy uniform and a few basic need. But after death of my uncle, there has been no assistance up to the moment. My plan is to finish high school with high marks, then I would like to join the university of my choice and pursue a degree of doctor. Since education has no end, I would like to earn my masters and PhD and be a great professional in Tanzania. Doing this, I can help my family and society at large.

Family is something we can never leave behind, the family will always be with us even during crisis, they are the one who respect and love us no matter what we do,, a family is a felling of forgiveness, love, hope and the something that can never be changed so, it is very important to respect. Six years a go i become a student TSF the family give the opportunity to learn and the education help me get better understand and give me more hope. Hello
I hope all are good
Now we are in rain seasonal and in central part of Tanzania people engage in agricultural activities. In Dodoma region we plant sunflower
Sorghum and maize. We plant such kind of crops for food and sunflower are crops for business. But the climate condition in this year change as we start to plant crops in this month instead of December. So I learn something in this year as there is climate change due to the human activities especially industrial activities that have direct effect on the climate change. And I like to share something that is important so as to reduce the climate change. What to do is plantation of trees which help as carbon sinking and reduce the amount of atmospheric carbon dioxide and hence the reduction of climate change. Don't cut the tree, save the tree, plant it to make our world green and to reduce the climate change,,πŸŒ²πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ³πŸŒ΅β˜˜οΈπŸžοΈπŸžοΈπŸžοΈπŸžοΈπŸ€πŸŒ΅πŸŒΉπŸ’πŸŒΊπŸŒ·πŸŒΈπŸ₯€πŸ΅οΈπŸŒ»πŸƒπŸŒΏπŸŒ±πŸ€β˜˜οΈ

Hello all. Please read the following sub topic THE BERLIN CONFERENCE (1884-85)
The Berlin conference was a meeting held in Berlin that was called by Chancellor Otto Von Bismarck of Germany in 1884-1885 or Berlin conference was the meeting of the European power which was held in Berlin the capital city of Germany from November 1884 to February1885 at the invitation of Otto Von Bismarck. 14 European countries were represented at this conference. USA and Denmark attended the conference as an observers. Members in this meeting drew out a map of Africa ready for partition (drawing out colonial master’s borders, marking their respective colonies (African States) that they would colonize).
The Events Leading to the Berlin Conference (1884/85
The following were the events led to the Berlin conference.
1) The imperialist activities; Imperialist activities in Africa brought about a need of peaceful division of Africa. For example the misunderstanding between British and France in Egypt led to the war at Fashoda. There was also tension in South Africa between the British and the Boers.

In West Africa the situation was the same e.g. In Niger River the French occupied the upper region where as the British occupied the lower region. In Congo basin the powers like Belgium Portuguese, French and German all demonstrated their interest. Therefore the conference was convened to avoid the rivalry in Africa.
2) Industrial revolution forced European powers to demand expansion of their territories to Africa continents.
Summary of the events
To solve the Congo and Niger problems
Need of Bismarck to diverge France interest from France to Africa,
To develop Africa for imperialism
To discuss views from different European nations on how to abolish the slave trade in the African territories.
The Resolutions of the Berlin Conference
Evaluate the resolutions of the Berlin conference
Representatives at the Berlin conference agreed on the following principles: (these principles were to be followed by all colonial masters).
1. To abolish slave trade in their colonies; All and any elements of slave trade in their respective colonies should be made illegal activity and had to bind themselves to improve the conditions of African moral and material being as well as total suppression of slave trade or any European signatory powers who claim an area in Africa should abolish slave trade wherever it was conducted.
2. They agreed to send a lot of missionaries, traders and explorers on their respective colonies and therefore should be protected from local attacks and allowed to have direct access to the interior of Africa so as to conduct various activities of civilization.
3. They were required to stop or to make an end of resistances that occurred between Africans and colonial government such resistances were Nandi, Chagga, Chimurenga, Hehe, Asante, Bwana Heri, Saadan etc,
4. They were required to have effective control of their colonies e.g. by building/constructing social services such as education centers, health services, and water services.
5. Colonial masters were required to notify others on the possession of colonies. The aim of the principles of notification was to avoid two powers from processing one colony.
6. They agreed to have free navigation on the navigable rivers like Congo, Niger etc. (In order to solve the conflict between the European Countries).
7. They were required to open up economic activities on their respective colonies (establishment of colonial economy e.g. agriculture, trading and industries

It has been a very long trip to Tanzania this year total three weeks.

I was very happy to meet all of you and know everyone better.

My trip started from Karatu. I visited 5 schools in Karatu and I learn where do you go to school every day.

I am very happy to know all of you are doing well and every of you has a dream that you want to be successful one day. I encourage all of you to try your best to reach you own destination.

The get together was so well prepared and done by each of you. I am very happy to saw all your science presentations and poems you wrote to TSF and me. I will treasure them all my life.

I can say I am very proud to all of you. Keep up the good work I want to see each of you one day get to
good University/College to reach your own dream.

After Karatu, I went to ARUSHA attended the TED Global conference and visited couple schools in ARUSHA.
I enjoyed the TED conference this year. It was focused on the Africa, specially in agriculture, health and education.

Mr. Amos was a volunteer there, he had great experience being this Global conference and met people from around the world.
He had a life experience at the conference, where he was able to meet a group of bright inventive and talented group of people.

Later I went to Iringa. Iringa almost the second hometown for me. I have been there six times.
I visited all 8 schools in Iringa and meet all of you in person. I was very happy to meet you.

I had a great time at the get together party. All of you did a wonderful presentation. I am very happy to know all of you had fun that night.

My this year Tanzania trip was set MMM computer center for most of the 13 TSF schools.
At Iringa, We build total 5 new computer center in Iringa girls, Klerruu, Lugalo, Ebenezer, Miyomgoni and Update one MMM center at Ummusalama. We build one new computer center at Karatu Secondary School and update one MMM center at Ganako.

I am very proud of building the MMM computer center in most of the TSF schools. I really want all of you to go to the computer center to learn every subject you are interested from the RACHEL PLUS.
In the future everyone work will be on the computer. I hope that every single of you tell me what do you learn from the RACHEL PLUS.
I would like you could to start the debate team in your school so you all could practice how to speak in the public. Have the Math Club and challenge each other on the Math.

They will all benefit your long-term confidence.

I hope I will hear from all of you soon.
Hello Judy.I am okay. agriculture is one of the common source of food everybody in Tanzania.about 95% of our population depend on it and we use tractors, animal driven hoes and hand free work.the machines are not so much common in the mountainous region so they use hand hoes.the reason for the set back of the agricultural sector are so common in several part of the country and one of which is drought and seasonal rainfall.
My fellow student:

Welcome back to school! This is a new semester, it is time for new goals. new ideas and new learning.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
