About

My life has been difficult because my family is economically poor and have no good jobs. My parents depend on peasant farming. Through it they raise only a small crops which is not enough for the children to get basic needs. When I was in Ordinary level, I was frequently sent home because the school fees were not paid. Through the assistance of my neighbors, I reached the end of my Form four and passed the examinations. For myself, I believe that in order to get good life, it's better first to get education. My dream is to be a lawyer. In order to complete my dream I will need to attend school and acquire a degree. After that I would like to have a higher standard of living. Also I would like to open special school in order to educate students who are coming from poor families. My second plan is to help women in the community by providing to them education concerning life.

Hi Judy I mean your fine and doing better in your daily work.in my side I am fine and proceeding well with my studies.
To day I would to share with you a bout pre colonial education.
Pre colonial education means the education that are given to African people before invasion of colonial rule and diving of African nation into small passion of colonies.
Before colonial the education was mainly informal and was theoretical not practical
The main features of per colonial education were during that time the elders was responsible to give education to young people also there was no specific syllabus to follow as well as education was also based on educating moral behavior especially to young people.
The pre colonial education was important during that time because help young people to live as to follow principles of certain society.
But during colonialism the white men introduce formal education in their colonies in African continent and still now were learning through formal education by following specific syllabus.
So those forms of education played very important role in African countries and formal education proceeding to play its role because as Tanzanian we are learning through it.
Therefore is all about education systems that before and after colonization of African continent.
I thank you Judy have a good and successfully journey of coming to Tanzania to visit us I will pray to God in order for you to accomplish your the journey as you planned.
We are together if God wishes thanks you very much and your most welcome so as to share to different issues.
THANKS.
JUDY.

Dear student,
It has been a long time since I last wrote to you. I am very sorry! It is not because I forgot nor because of my laziness, but because I was tied up with my personal problem. My aging mother has been in and out of hospital many times for health issues, and I am her major care giver. Thanks for everyone's prayer, she makes small improvement.
Wish you do your best on your learning and make great effort preparing your test. You have big potential that's why TSFTZ funded you.
Please keep on writing your journal entries, we enjoy reading them and will try to write back to you at our best ability.
-Jenny
Dear Students, It's springtime here and almost Easter . . .the flowers are popping up and it's getting warmer. How are you and what will you do for Easter? We go to Church and have an Easter egg hunt with the children. They hunt for special chocolate eggs usually outside in the trees and lawn.
We hope to hear you are studying hard and want you to know how much we care about you.
Please be kind to all your classmates . . . You all need to support each other when you might be having a hard time, at home or in school with your studies. Go to your teachers if you're struggling and they will help you. Please follow up with us and let us know how we can help. We are wishing you all the best with your studies.
You all have a bright future ahead and the most important thing is to study hard now and be willing to help your fellow classmates.
We're thinking of you, kate adams
Dear student,
It has been very long time since last time I wrote to you. I have been out of town attending conferences, doing business and helping with family issues.
I know the new school year began two months ago and I hope you are able to focus on your studies and set goals for yourself. I hope you are doing well this school year.
In your journals I would like to see you are learning, what you like and dislike about the school, your accomplishments, your difficulties your life and your obstacles you face.
I want you to evaluate yourself, what is your strength and weakness, which area do you need to improve yourself. That way I could know who you are and help me to know you better. I wish you have a great year ahead of you and let me know there are anything you need me to help.
Best regards, Judy

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
