About

My dream is to be a pilot. To reach it, I will study hard. I live in Iringa with my mother and my sister, Catherine. I have not seen my father since he divorced my mother when I was young. If I become a pilot, I will be very happy and help my family. I always promise my teachers that I will keep working hard in my studies. I believe in education because it is a gift no one can take away from me.

Dear amanda,
It's my pressure to inform you that I'm absolutely fine and my studies are okay, and also its my hope that you are doing well.
The aim of writing to you is to inform you about the some story that we have learned during class session in the English subject and this story is about agriculture.
The title of the book ;MABALA THE FARMER.
The author of the book;RICHARD S. MABALA
The main character;MABALA
WHAT IS THE STORY ABOUT?
The story is about a man called Mabala,a lazy, educated and argumentative man who never cares for tomorrow his wife Mauja advices him to work very hard so that they can be able to live a happy life. But mabala does not want to listen instead he started drinking rather than working hard and because of his negligence and considering himself right in whatever he does he takes sugar instead of fertilizer to the farm.his neighbour tells him but he refuses.
Instead of having all this problems mabala was good in accountancy so he villages appointed him to that work which he does very well and bring changes to the society. This changes bring happiness to his family as well.

WHAT DID WE LEARN FROM THE STORY?
From the story we learnt that even lazy people have something good in them which may take time and a lot of tolerance to be able to realize, every body can contribute in the development of the societies if they are helped to change their altitude, given chance and opportunity as mabala.
Also i come realize that farming is one of the most important economic activities in our societies.
And the story ends happy, especially when it comes to a stubborn man like mabala to change and become a very usefully man in the village.
Is the story interesting???

Hope to hear from you soon, have a nice weekend!!!!!!!!!!!
Deborah.

We are almost in the middle of the summer in California now. I wonder how you are doing? You are always in my thought. How is the weather there? How is everything going? Here school is in its summer break, a quite long break, almost two and half months. Some kids go to summer camps and some just do what they like or just relax.

my best wishes for you. Love to hear back from you.

with love,

Snow

Hello TSF Students,

It has been way to long since I have written to all of you, my deepest apologizes. I know you are all working hard towards the end of the school year and preparing for your upcoming exams. I am sure this is making you feel so many things both exciting and anxious in many ways. I hope that you are able to find times of peace and fun throughout your day as well as time to study.
Yesterday in the United States we celebrated a day called Mother's Day. It is a day we express our gratitude to our mothers or anyone else in our lives that have helped raise us. I was fortunate enough to get to spend this day with my mother and tell her in person how grateful I am that she created me. I know that not all of you may be able to speak to your mom today or any day possibly, but I know that as a mother myself and speaking with all of you through these journals that I am so proud and grateful for all of your mothers. Wherever they are and wherever you are with them or not, they have helped create such strong impressive individuals.
Keep up all your hard work and you will continue to make your moms, including me, so proud of you for being a TSF student.

Big hugs to each of you!!!!
Amanda
Hello Debora
Hopping that you are fine and you are going on with your different activities. Back to me am also fine and am going on with my studies.
Today I would like to share to you about the DISTANCE WHERE A BEE NEED TO TRAVEL SO AS TO MAKE 500 GRAMS OF HONEY..
Honey is made from nectar which some special of bee collect from flowers. Only a small amount is collected each time, and so a honey bee must travel from flower to flower, and from flower to hive and back again, many times in order to produce a large quantity of honey. A single bee would have to cover a distance of over 75000 kilometers in order to make 500 grams of honey....
Thank you and have a nice week end........................................

Dear madam,
It's my pressure to inform you that I'm absolutely and my studies are okay and thanks for the journal you posted to me,I really appreciate it.
the thing which i like most when i was at school and also at home is to study different books in order to improve study strength and even story books because i want to achieve my goal. And our school has good timetable and good environment for studying also in our school we have many books there so i like our school because of those things and even if there is no that things i will still like my school because as they say education is anywhere not only in the school.
and thing which i dislike at school i think there is nothing the thing which is remain to me is to study hard, bur the difficult thing in my life i haven't but in my school life at home there is a problem i do not have enough time to study because of helping different activities my parent at home only that no more.

I like many subject include mathematics, physics, geography, chemistry biology etc but here is only one subject which i can not perform well everyday i'm being punished because of that ,that is my weakness at school in that subject ,but i do not give up i will make sure that will became more than easy to me.
and my strength is to speak in front of other maybe for advising them or whatever not only that there are many such as reading story book and my need is you to help me in that subject if you care.
Have a happy weekend filled with sunshine

Greetings to all your friends

Dear Deborah,
I hope that you are fine and it is the first time to write to you because I want to know and share what I know and do with you if you care.

In this journal I want to share with you what I have been doing in this week, from Monday to Friday the week is very tight in terms of time because from 7:50am every weekday the periods begin and end at 3:00pm and after normal class sessions we have the practical session where we do some experiments of Chemistry, Physics or Biology basing on the time table arrangements of the day in a week after that we have tuition session that begins from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and in the tuition we have physics, chemistry and math’s so that is how my time table is EXEPT Friday where lessons end at 12:20pm.

I hope that even you will share a series of things you do daily in school or at home that relates with studies that I would be happy to know about.

Regards
Henry.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
