Lucia is the second born child in a family of four. She did her certificate of primary education in 2014 and was admitted to secondary school in 2015. For the greater part of 2016, Lucia has been out of school due to lack of school fees. For the second term, Lucia was completely out of school. Her father has deserted the family leaving the burden of children support to their ailing mother who does casual jobs to cater for the family’s basic needs. The failing health of Lucia’s mother has rendered her unable to work hard as before. The burden of providing the basic necessities for the family has taken a toll on Lucia’s mothers’ meager resources making it hard to pay for her daughter’s school fees. Lucia’s dream for a good education risks being cut short due to lack of school fees. Despite the olds, Lucia is a self-disciplined and determined student who is optimistic to study and achieve her dream to become a lawyer and help educate her young siblings as well as other children in need.

I hope you are fine as I am.I have been home for a holiday of three weeks,where I am going back to school today.
At home have being helping my mum in house chores and also putting more effort in my weak subjects.
In school i will work extra hard to excel in my final exam in secondary comes twenty second November .

Hope you are fine as I am. I am back for my April holiday of three weeks where I am determine to revise in my studies and also help my mother in house chores.In school I did my best to produce good grades and I also engaged myself in game so as to be all rounded person.

Happy New Year my supporters and wonderful friends
Hope you are fine.On my side I am good. Our school holiday of two months has come to end. I am now going back to school. This will be my final year in high school . during the holiday I helped my mother in house chores and also weeding for our crops. I have also been doing private studies at home to improve my grades in all subjects. Being my final year I will be working extra to prepare for the final exam.
I thank everyone who has been supporting me in my education and making my stay in school comfortable. May the Most High God help you in this new blessed year

I could not response to you during the holiday because I had gone for treatment at Nairobi where I spent most of my time in the hospital
but when we opened the school I went back.Hence I was given clinics to attend so I had come home for. Today i am going back to school.Where i am trying to do the best in all my subjects to attain good grands at the end of the term.
For instants hope we shall work in silent and success will shout.

I am fine too. Also I am very great and thanking you for supporting me for my school fees for I have been in school for three months. I promise to work hard in order to produce good grades. I had a holiday of three weeks where I was reading everyday as to improve my grades in every subject well as to meet my target. I also helped my mother in house hold chores. We are opening school for the second term tomorrow. The term will take 14 weeks. I am determined to utilize my time in school well. I am happy because I will not be sent home for school fees.     Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

    Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

    The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
