About

We are seven in my family with my parents and my four siblings. I still love my family despite all the challenges we are facing and have hope that it is only a matter of time before we live a better life again. I had even lost hope of becoming an architect since there was no one to pay for my secondary education after I had scored 392/500 mark at Spurgeons Primary School. With my strong hopes and faith knowing that my God is always above everything, I am grateful for the scholarship which is a great gift offered to my family and the helpless children in the slums. I am pursuing my secondary school education at Mbita High School and I believe that this will enable me to realize my dreams. Lastly I have remained focused on my academics, never to disappoint my family and mostly Shining Hope for Communities for I know education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.

Since this was to be my final Year in high school my first term started on high note everything was flowing the way I expected since I was high spirited, this was a special year to me, I was expecting that by the end of the Year I would have score A, abruptly holiday for sure was to shock to me and even made me question why we were being left to go outside while being confined in the school compound would be safer. I knew how home would be a distraction, my expectation become so true when we broke for home and I confirmed it, studying at home was tough but I think I was a tougher one, to counter my distraction I studied at night with all resources I could find since day time was ever busy,
House cores came , friends came and laziness creeped , these I compensated for by studying at night the impromptu call for going back to school was a red joy to me, I knew that it was also going to be tough to be back to where I was after seven months of holiday , I am glad this was not a challenge so hard to me within two weeks I was back to where I was , I was targeting for an which I missed with a whisker .the two weeks break given to us was not significance to me , it was given me time rethink and restructure my plans , the previous term has taught me to work hard under pressure and studying at home has not been a challenge anymore , as we are going back to school I am fully aware that the pressure will be higher but I am ready to counter , my target in KCSE is an A of 82 points Now that I know I work best at night I am for sure going to maximise my night time not forgetting the day.
