About

My name is Nicholas Omwenga and I was born on 26th october in the year 2001 in Kibera slums. My parents are from Kisii country. I started schooling in the year 2004 at Fefa Preparatory School then transferred to Kicoshop Primary School where I sat for K.C.P.E. I love swimming, playing football and listening to music. My weakness is trusting so much while my strength is wanting more knowledge. My past and present situation is lack of basic needs e.g food, shelter and clothing. Even when I was a child I had a big imagination thinking that I could become a big time engineer in life. I thank SUN so much for this opportunity.

As the school opened as planned by the Government in 2020 I was determined to plan myself for the new Year everything was okay and the Teacher aim were to complete the syllabus in time so as to help the form four students with their revisions and all that four students when the Covid cases were in Kenya the President announced that all schools to be close so as to help the students not to contract the virus , so everything was supposed to go home , the first three months were really difficult as I did not know how to read because we had not completed the syllabus to me was difficult to read ahead because some topics were really difficult by my own I tried to cope with the Government protocols were one was to read through the internet and Television programmes were not displayed or shown to the students making it difficult to read then the ones who taught some were very fast and I could understand some things.
Seven months come to pass and the Government ordered the form four students to return to school. I am glad to be back and thankful for your support that allows me to continue to attend school.
