About

I live with my both parents. They are peasant farmers. I want to be a pilot because I like that job. I will study hard to get there. The happiest moment in my life is the way when I passed my examination. I felt very proud of myself because my family was happy for me. The difficult experience for me in my life when my young sister was burned with hot water and then my mom do not know how to care for her. I learned that the life is hard. For the next four years I will study hard because I want to reach my dream.

hello the school fund family
it's my great pressure that all of you, u're fine back to my side am fine also and i continue well with my mock exams and i hope to do the best.to day i would like to share with you about different challenges that students face and are common to many people as follow;
-lack of school fees, this may be coursed by 1-separation of family 2-family conflict
3-gender discrimination.
-diseases this may led to the failure of a student to his or her studies .
that is all for to day but all in all we have to give education to our societies so as to eliminate gender discrimination especially to the one who live in rural areas like masai and hadzabe.
wish you nice day and love you more my family who make me very very happy.

Hi School fund students

How are you? How is school?

I enjoy reading your journal. I would love to learn about your life. You can write back to tell me about your family, like how many brothers and sister do you have? Do you have good friends? What do you do with your friends? Do you like music? Do you like to sing or dance? Do you like sports? What makes you happy? What do you do when you are out of school? What do you do to help your families? See, I have so many questions. Please write back to tell me your stories.

Thank you and hope you have a new school year.

Regards,
Indy
Hi School Fund Students

Sorry it took me a while to write to you. For those of you who is receiving my journal the first time, let me introduce myself.

My name is Indy. I am currently living at the same town as Ms Judy. She and I went to high school together. I am so happy to have this opportunity to get to know you.

I used to work with computers for many many years. Do you like to use computers?

Yesterday I met with some of my old school friends for lunch. These are the friends I have for almost 50 years. We talked about our school days when we were 12 years old.
It brought many happy memories.

Do you enjoy your school? Now is the time to form good friendship with your classmates? What do you do with your classmates? Do you study together? Do you talk and share secrets? I know you have a lot of study to do. Hopefully you can find some time to do some fun stuff with your friends.

Please write back to let me know what interests you.

Until next time,
your friend,
Indy
Hi Students

How are you? How was your time off?

I enjoyed reading your journal very much. You mentioned quite a bit of your time at school. I am a bit curious about your time outside of school.

What do you do when you are home? Do you need to help taking care of family members? Do you need to work in the field? Do you need to help with cooking the food? Do you spend time with your friends? Do you like to sing? Do you like to dance? Do you like to play ball games?

It will be great if you can let me know what your life is like.

Now you are back at school, I hope you have a successful term.

Please write back.

Until next time

Indy
hello my fellow
i hope you are fine back to my side i am also fine.
today i am going to talk about ambition.
ambition is something a person plans for their future life.you can also call it something a person wishes to do in his or her future life. life without an ambition is nothing.we all must plan for our future and have an ambition to achieve.so, if you are, a student without knowing the position you are, then you have very big problem.you should know why you are studying, then you should know what you want to be.If you wish to be a pilot, then make sure you are doing everything you can to be in that field.
generally, the whole idea is that you have to know what you want.
hello Jonathan
i hope you are fine back to my side i am also fine and i am doing well in my study.
in our country we do not have thanksgiving but we have a special day when we go to celebrate with children who live in a poor family. especial new year many people visit children who live in a poor life.
i wish you nice week.
atuwene.
Dear Students,

This week, the US celebrated one of our largest holidays: Thanksgiving.
In the United States, Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day is a public holiday on the fourth Thursday in November. On this day, people remember the first American Thanksgiving, when the first European settlers had been taught how to grow food by the NativeAmericans, and they celebrated the successful harvest together.

For many of us, the meaning of Thanksgiving usually includes feasting, four-day weekends, football games, floats, family reunions, or a forerunner to Christmas festivities. The “first Thanksgiving,” however, was neither a feast nor a holiday, but a simple gathering. Following the Mayflower’s arrival at Plymouth Rock on December 11, 1620, the Pilgrims suffered the loss of 46 of their original 102 colonists. With the help of 91 Indians, the remaining Pilgrims survived the bitter winter and yielded a bountiful harvest in 1621. In celebration, a traditional English harvest festival, lasting three days brought the Pilgrims and natives to unite in a “thanksgiving” observance.

This year, I celebrated Thanksgiving with a very nice dinner with my family with traditional food such as Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, etc..

Do you have a tradition similar to ours in your country? I’d love to hear about it.

Best,
Jonathan

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
