Mueni is an outgoing girl who completed her primary education in 2017 and since her parents were unable to pay for her school fees she decided to repeat grade eight. Despite staying home for most of the time in the year due to small school levies, her dream to become a surgeon has kept her focused. Her parents are poor and only do casual jobs to cater for the family basic needs. Their house collapsed last year due to rains and they are now living in a makeshift house. ÊMueni believes that hard work never goes unrewarded.

I am fine and it is my hope that you are fine.I am home for a mid term break lasting for a week.I have planned to polish up on areas which are challenging to me in preparation for my examination.

The term was a short one with a beehive of activities as teachers did all they could in order to complete the syllabus.I am working smart to achieve my long term goal.I will be reporting back to school on 11th August for the second part of the term if there are no further changes as instructed by the school.

I am working hard in my studies to achieve my target and get a good course at the university.The school environment is very conducive for learning .

During this holiday I have been able to go through some of my challenging topics in various subjects as well as helping my parents with household chores.

I am so fine and I hope you are also fine.My going at school is good and am making effort to achieve my goals.The holiday has been fine and I have managed to revise through online classes and also through the Zeraki App.

During the holiday, I have been assisting my parents with household chores and other work like cultivating crops.I have also planted some trees which are growing well.

I am going back to school on Monday 25th April and I have decided to do my best in my studies in the coming academic year.I appreciate your continuous support to make my stay in school comfortable.May God bless you all .

Hello friends?

I am much grateful to God for His protection throughout the term.I am fine and I hope you are also fine.My stay in school has been very enjoyable though tough since teachers were teaching in rush to complete the syllabus.The school environment has been conducive for learning.

During this term, I have participated in different co-curricular activities such as running cross-country during the school sports day.I managed to appear position eight.I am also an active member of the Young Christian students where I was awarded a certificate as the chairperson of the mass servers.

Throughout the term,the school has been bringing in motivational speakers and examiners to guide us on how to answer examination questions and how to revise. Our school has also organised for online classes through an app called zeraki analytic app.Through it, a student can also acquire examination questions and answers.This is to keep us busy during the seven weeks holiday.

This being my last longest holiday,I have planned to utilise my time well in order to meet my target come the next academic year.I thank you for your great support in sustaining my stay in school.May God bless you all.

    I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

    Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

    Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.
