My experiences this year have been fairly good. The start of classes was similar to last year - online education, which is rather monotonous and boring, The ray of light though was the announcement that we would go back to face-to-face teaching from November. This is much better and makes it easier to understand the different topics. Now we are back at school, I hope this will be a good year.
I am now following technical courses and have had to study additional subjects such as accountancy. This was quite problematic as lessons are still online and the teacher was often absent. I have tried to overcome these problems though and I managed to get a good mark overall this term.
Hi David - well done on continuing to learn online, it must be a real challenge but I'm glad you can do it now. Most government departments were unprepared for the pandemic - even in England so you've done well to get where you are. Good luck with your studies this coming year!!
Hello. I'm happy to still be continuing with my classes this year. Although it's sometimes difficult because of the pandemic, I think it's really important not to stop studying. Sometimes it's difficult to get hold of the correct materials for particular classes, but that's just another challenge of online learning! Thank you for your help.
Covid-19 has dramatically changed my life and my family's life, academically, at home and socially. We couldn't continue going to school. Doing school work from home has been very complicated. Neither the teachers nor the Ministry of Education were prepared for the situation, so sometimes we were asked to do work we had already completed and at other times the correct new materials were missing. Socially, we couldn't meet friends or family, and for a time everything was absolutely shut, apart from food shops and medical centres. It was a risk to go outside, but sometimes we had to. Now the situation has changed a lot, but people are still hesitant about buying things from street-sellers, which is affecting the income of lots of people like us. My family and I are all well, thanks to God, and so are our friends. I hope you are too, and thank you very sincerely for all your support.
Hello everyone. I'm much happier in my new school, where I started this term, because I think it's more organized and more demanding than my old school. This means I can learn more and be better prepared for getting a place at university.
