Hello. The pandemic has affected me a lot, and very negatively because my mother has had to distance herself from us so that she can work and earn money to support us. I really miss her, and she misses us too. My school work has suffered too. We haven't learnt nearly as much as we should have done. I've only had virtual classes for the last two months. Before that, we just had to do homework by ourselves. Or with the help of parents - but not all parents know enough about school subjects, so we had to teach ourselves. The lock-down has made me appreciate freedom and socialisation. Being confined doesn't have many advantages. I've learnt how to make pizza and empanadas and had more time to do exercise, but I would really like to return to "normal"!
I finished last year with very good marks. Now I've begun the baccalaureate programme and I have some new subjects to study, which are more complicated, so I have to study more.
