Albanas is the first-born child in a family of four. He is a very hard-working boy and attributes his success in school to his teachers who encouraged him. His father relies on casual jobs which sometimes are not available. His mother has a back-health problem and cannot perform heavy tasks. In his primary education Albanas overcome all odds to emerge the top student in his school. He dreams to be a doctor in future to help the less fortunate in the society. He believes that nothing good come without working for it.

Hi Allies and Donors!
It is with great pleasure that I have written to you again this gracious moment . I'm grateful to God that I have witnessed yet another academic year come to pass. I'm glad too to inform you that I have completed my high school education under the courtesy of your kindness and your full support financially. Surely, the Lord has shown his favor through you. I would like to thank you in a special way. May the Lord continue showering you with His blessings wherever you be. I also thank the KenyaConnect for their support that enabled me to propel with positivity because, if it were not for them maybe I would have joined the street young men, who have actually turned their lives into weed smoking fornicators with no future.
The exam was a tremendous success and I'm certain that I'm going to get a good grade which will enable me to join one of the best universities here in Kenya where my skills shall be abetted and after which I shall be ready to navigate the market with courage, confidence and impeccable credential.
Just something about our country; we are experiencing almost a galloping inflation which has pulled down most of Kenyans' standards 0f living. The value of Kenyan shilling has also been indirectly proportional to the inflation. My hope is that soon I'm going to cope with the challenging situations with life of being not a student since this challenges have become character in our daily lives.
May the almighty God bless you exceedingly as you continue touching lives of many children in this century. Bye and once again thanks...

Hi Friends!
How do you do? I've chosen to write again to you before I report back to school this week. It has also taken the hand of God to see the end of the holiday. I will never fatigue by thanking you for your full support.
I have done much this holiday concerning education so that when I go back to school I continue displaying a charisma of a trail blazer.I have also been attending youth programmes in church and I not only learnt but alo grew spiritually.
concerning our country, we are experiencing much; there have been an inflation since the new president and many families have been utterly affected negatively by this. Again cases of corruption have also been increasing every now and then but I thank God for He has enabled us to saunter on.
I too as an individual have been facing so much but I always understand that challenges have to come but the strong ones will survive. I really love a verse in the Bible which says, "Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them,for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world " that is 1JONN 4:4 .
I would like to wish you humble time and may grace of the Lord be with you all the time. Bye Bye...

I have been well too and God has shown His favour on my side. Thanks to Him...We have seen yet another successful term and broke for a short holiday of two weeks. School has been well. I´m doing my best just as expected of me in studies.

Disappointment has always been my enemy and so I promise not be a letdown.
We are home for a mid-term break of less than a week. So far I´m doing good in school. With the prevailing serene atmosphere, teaching and learning programs are running well. I´m trying the best I can to excel in my studies
Trying too in surmounting the challenges that have has become characteristic in our daily lives. Anyway, that´s how life is- one must toil to achieve positive results.

It's happy to meet you. Hope you are all good. Happy again to see that we have come to the end of the long holiday, that marks a start of another academic year. Thanks to God for enabling us and giving us the courage to overcome all hurdles in life. The holiday has been good. In fact I enjoyed the best I could but with limits too.

I greet you, how do you do? It is with great pleasure that I share with you again. I am well too, under God´s care as I always believe. I won´t give up in thanking him.
We have closed schools for a very short holiday. I can´t conclude that the term was long. Infact I would be pleased if we could be told just continue to stay there at schools since I know what I´m looking for. Anyway, the term was quite fine only a struggle here and there trying to cover the syllabus.Every teacher with his/her own tactics of teaching trying to run after the time. When you observe them carefully you can conclude that they are in a competition. I always admire their knowledge of doing it.
With that may I thank you and finalise by saying that stay well in your place and I too. I always admire to visit your place and socialise with you physically. I don´t know if you admire my place too, if so then you can as well share with me. Byeee...

How do you do and how are things there at your place? Happy again to meet you. I´m eager to hear from you that you are well under God´s protection able to overcome any challenges that have become characteristic in our dear lives, and that will be my happiness.
On my side I´m good and happy that we have made it to this season that marks the end of the first term. It was a short and a tough one,loaded with many activities every teacher trying to speed up in pushing the syllabus but we were able to make it. Thanks to the lord.
In spite of all that,I´m working smart in studies targeting on my goal and perfect my destination.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.

I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
