Hello Sharon! I hope you are fine and safe from the corona pandemic.I am also protecting myself. In Kenya the numbers have gone down and we hope to go back to school.I have been extra careful. The classes I have been taking are so helpful because I have gained knowledge which I never had.I like reading very much. Keep working hard and may God keep you safe.
Hello Fedelis!

I hope you are staying safe and well during the pandemic. There are many people who are very sick here in the U.S. Sadly, our country has not done a good job preparing for the pandemic. I wear a face mask whenever I go out. I hope you have been washing your hands and being careful too.

Have you been taking some of the on-line classes at the KC LRC? Are they helpful? Are you learning anything new? Did you participate in the mentor series? If so, what did you like the most?

It is apple season in Maryland. Many farmers grow apples. I like eating apples and I'll also bake with them. Last week I made an apple pie and this week I made an apple cake. When the apples bake in the oven they get softer. Do you have apples in Kenya? One of my favorite fruits to eat when I visit Kenya is the mango. They are so sweet and delicious.

I love to read and I read almost every day. Do you like to read? Did you know it's one of the best ways to improve your grades in school? Students who read for fun tend to get higher scores.

Keep working hard and take care. Sharon
