About

Quiet and reserved, Namelock shines when she is completing group work with friends outside of class, or playing soccer during break time at school. Namelock is a bright young leader who fully believes in the value of education, and hopes to use her education at Orkeeswa School to make a difference in her community. While her parents are supportive of her education, they lack the means necessary to pay for her school fees.

Dear The School Fund Sponsors,

I hope this email finds you well.

At Orkeeswa, one of our core values is: "Anything is possible." As a 9th grader, Namelock recently reflected on what this value means to her, and we wanted to share what she had to say with you.

“I believe for anything to be possible, I have to try, work hard and believe in myself. When I fail my examinations, I also find a way to improve myself by seeking help from my teachers and peers. I have also challenged myself to try different sports even though I am not good at some of them.”

Thank you for your continued support of Namelock and your investment that provides her with an opportunity to know her strength and to live our core value of "Anything is Possible".

Sincerely,
Orkeeswa
Dear TSF Sponsors,

Thank you very much for your contribution towards Namelock's education at Orkeeswa School via The School Fund's Scholarship Match Day! Together, we are contributing to support high-quality education for our amazing students in rural Tanzania, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Dear TSF sponsors,

This is Tunu, the Communications Manager at Orkeeswa School.

I hope this email finds you well and healthy, especially during this difficult time in our world. As you may be aware, Orkeeswa School reopened in June after we made several changes on campus to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community.

Namelock is doing well and is excited to be back in school catching up with her studies. She is currently focused on covering her 7th Grade topics, and in Life Skills she is learning about Goal setting. She has written a letter to check in with you and your families, as well as share with you an update on what she is doing in class.

We look forward to keeping you updated on Namelock's progress and thank you for your continued support in her education. We are so thankful for your partnership, which has been even more critical this year during the pandemic, ensuring we can stay on track with our mission to provide the highest-quality education to our students.

With Gratitude,
Tunu and Orkeeswa School
