About

Milena was born in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, but the family moved to Quito shortly afterwards. She is the youngest member of the family. She likes studying and has found it difficult not having face-to-face lessons during the pandemic. She has particularly missed the dance classes and presentations wearing traditional Ecuadorian dress, which the school organised.

Hello. I began my final three years in high school at the end of last year. This meant starting new subjects, and some of them were quite difficult. I soon got into the new rythm though, and since then everything has been going super well.
Thank you to The School Fund. I am now starting my final three years in high school, so school and homework are becoming more serious. I am very happy about this and am enjoying the new school year very much. Again, thank you for this opportunity.
Over the last 6 months I've learnt a lot of things. The best for me has been improving in English - we now have interactive classes and it's much easier to learn in this way. Apart from the academic side of things, I've learnt to value my friendships, to know who I am and to believe strongly in what I want to do.
I really like the school where I'm studying. It's sometimes a bit difficult, but I love learning new things. I like the academic subjects, as they are most challenging. I'm very happy that I can keep on studying thanks to The School Fund. Thank you for all your support with my studies and for helping me grow as a person. Thank you, The School Fund!
I am pleased it is the end of the year at school and that the summer holidays have arrived. I think it is good to have time to relax before the new school year starts. This year the summer holiday is shorter than usual but anyway I will enjoy it. Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who is helping me. This is my second year in the Condor Trust and I'm really enjoying being able to study in the classroom again. Without your support my mum wouldn't have been able to buy my school uniform. Thank you very much.
Getting a scholarship has been a great opportunity for me, so I can keep on advancing with my studies and as a person.

It's been a bit difficult finding my feet at school because the standard is higher than I was used to, but I really like the school. At the moment I'm studying at home, but I should return to face-to-face lessons next week. I love the classrooms and facilities and the way they teach us at school. All this is possible thanks to you who've given me the opportunity for a better education. Thank you!

Also, there are few neurosurgeons in the country. He is very outgoing and enjoys drawing to improve his skills. Despite the challenges he faced, he believed in hard work and emerged as the best student in his school. For sure, hard work never goes unrewarded.
