Kaluki is the fourth born in a family of five. Her mother deserted the family and she and her siblings are currently living with her aged grandmother who is currently unable to work. The family depends on well-wishers to cater for their needs. Kaluki completed her primary education in 2019 and was unable to join secondary school due to lack of school fees. She decided to repeat grade eight with great hopes of joining high school. Despite the challenges, she emerged the best student in her school. She aspires to be a cardiologist to save the lives of many. Kaluki believes that hard work pays. She loves singing.

How are you?I hope you are fine.My family and I are doing well.

I am writing this journal to inform you that we are home for three weeks holiday.The term was short and full of many activities.I participated in drama festivals where we went up county level.

In curriculum,I am going on well.The environment at school is very conducive and favourable.We did our end of term exam where I did not perform very well.

This holiday am going to utilise my time well by doing homework and also working hard on my weak subjects.Since in our country we have rains I am also going to help in farming.

I thank you for the support which you are still offering to me.May God bless you abundantly.I will continue working hard to achieve my goals. Thank you. Goodbye.

I hope you are fine and going on well.My family and I are also good.I have been well at school.Lam writing for you this journal to inform you that am back home for two months holiday.
This term I did not manage to attain my goal but I got C which is an improvement from opener exam.We did not participate in any co-curricular activities because we were very busy when finishing the syllabus for form four knowing that next year am a candidate and I need more time for revision.
This holiday I will be busy when helping my grandmother in farming and also I will be attending Kenya Connect library.

Hi donors, How are you?I hope you are fine and going on well.My family and I are also good.I have been well at school. I am writing for you this journal to inform you that am back home for two weeks holiday.This is after term two which was full of both curicullar and co-curicullar activities.This term I have improved in some subjects like history,kiswahili and business.Some of the activities which took place are like ball games. How do you do?It's my hope that you are fine under God's care.Receive warm greetings from my family members and I. I have been well too and God has shown his favour on my side.
We have seen the end of two weeks holiday of the first term .The holiday was very short and I was busy helping my grandmother in the farm and also I was attending Kenya Connect library were I came across a novel by the name EMERGENCY OF MURDER by Janet.IT talks about a woman who used to murder people and when he gets jailed his husband could give out bribe for her to be released.The book teaches the dangers of bribe
and that the truth will set you free.The book was very interesting and enjoyable. May you take time and visit your library to see whether you will find it.

Tomorrow on 9 May,2023 am going back to school for term two were a lot of work is expected from me.I will work hard throughout the term so as to improve higher my grades.

How are you?Receive much greetings from my family members and I.I am very glad to inform you that am now home for a long vacation which is going to take about two months.In our country we have got rains and am still helping my old grandmother on farming.School has been so busy with teachers rushing towards completion of syllabus. How have you being? I am fine. Today 19th November,2021 we have started our midterm break which will last for four days . Since I joined form one I am doing well in my studies. The main challenge which I am facing at school is water. This challenge is not only in my school but also is been experienced in the whole country.I am still working extra hard towards my career. During this break, I am going to help my guardian in preparing the farm as we are waiting for the rains which we hope will come soon. At school, I have read a novel with the title FINDERS KEEPERS.     The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.

    I have experience planting vegetables because my parents do that. Also, we have a garden at our home. Therefore, that is experience I have had in life. Apart from that experience, I also had a difficult experience when I failed my geography exam. That enabled me to learn how to cooperate with other students. I was so proud of myself when I performed well in my national exam. The memorable and happiest moment in my life will be when I reach my dream of being pilot. I will be so happy. My biggest dream is to be a pilot. I will get there through studying hard in physics, geography, and mathematics. After reaching my dream, I will help my parents to modify their cultivation system and to become professional farmers. From there they can expand the area of cultivation into a large plantation. Once I get a chance to have the power to change my country, I will build many airports in each region and some districts. This will help in the flexibility of transportation in my country.

    Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.
