Kimberly is the oldest of three children and lives with her brother, sister and parents in a mountain village just outside Quito. Another baby is on the way and Kimberly is really looking forward to his/her arrival. At the moment, her ambition is to become a teacher.

The last 6 months at school have been very good, although there have been a lot of challenges that I've had to overcome. I've learnt lots of new things which are helping me in daily life.

I've started at a new school this month and I'm very happy about it because I'm going to be learning new subjects which I've never studied before. His mother has been supporting the family through casual jobs. Raymond dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon in future because he wants to help people with mental problems. Also, there are few neurosurgeons in the country. He is very outgoing and enjoys drawing to improve his skills. Despite the challenges he faced, he believed in hard work and emerged as the best student in his school. For sure, hard work never goes unrewarded.
