About

Matata is a daring young boy who believes that success is often achieved by those who don’t know that failure is inevitable. He is the last born in a family of four. His parents are unemployed and largely depend on subsistence farming, which has been negatively affected by frequent severe droughts. Most of the rural roads in his village are very impassable and this has pushed him towards achieving his dream of becoming an engineer. Since Matata was a young boy, he has always liked playing football not only at home but also in school and he was the goalkeeper for his school team.

Hi donors,
Hope you are fine, am also fine too.
We had closed school for our end term two holiday.
Am writing this letter to appreciate your concern in my education.
In school we had beehive of activities including games. We had
ballgames going on well but our football team ended up to sub county level where they lost at finals in penalties.
We had done well in our academics. We had participated in both external and internal contest. We did our end term exam which I had passed with flying colours.I was not only congratulated but also I was
awarded.
The school life was not so hard.I enjoyed it because I kept myself from any trouble. The food that we ate was well cooked and delicious.
The challenging thing is that the school is located where the climate
is not too encouraging for human survival. We take cold baths which is discouraging to asthma students. The coldness is increasing the rate of diseases associated with coldness and it leads to many students transferring.Thank you.
Hello donors,
hope you are fine.Am also with my activities going on well. The school
was quite good. When we opened for term 2 we had an exam which I
really tried my best.I managed to be at position 2 overall.I was not only awarded but also congratulated. On the side of activities, term 2 had beehive of activities. Our school hosted the zonal games where
our football team proceeded to sub county level but we did not
manage to county level because we lost on penalties. On the side of
learning everything is okay.Thank you.
