Hi Evans,

My name is Jaclyn, and I am a student at Brown University who works with the School Fund. Congratulations on completing your final exams! What do you plan to do during your vacation time? I have a long vacation coming up in December, so I'm also excited to relax with my family.

I noticed from your profile that you would like to become an accountant. That's an awesome goal to have! I hope to become a lawyer.

Keep in touch,

Jaclyn
Hi friends,

Hope all is well. I am doing fine. I am happy to have completed my final exams in High school. We are expecting the results by February next year. I am now relaxing at home helping my parents in the farm. The rains have come and we have already planted maize, beans and peas.

I am wishing yo all the best. Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year 2014

Hi Christi,

Hope you are doing well. Have you started your law school? We have closed school for August holiday. We shall resume back on September. Our final exam in High school is around the corner. We have only two months left then we sit for the exam. I am working tirelessly to join University.

wishing you well in your studies.

Evans
Hi Christi,

I am so happy to hear from you! I do study during the vacation in order to keep up with the pace of increasing work. By the end of the year i will be sitting for my final exam in high school and it covers all work we learned since form one.

I am happy for you to have the chance to visit a beautiful place like Scotland. Thank you for the photo you have attached. If i had the opportunity to visit anywhere i will choose USA to experience the different seasons of the year.

Enjoy your trip to Scotland.

Hoping to hear from you.

Evans
Hi Evans,
I am happy to hear that you are working hard to revise during vacation! You are a very hard worker to spend time during your vacation on school work. I am happy to hear that you love chemistry. My boyfriend is a biologist, but he studied chemistry at university, and he loves his work.

I love your question :) In fact, I have been given this opportunity. Next week I will start a two month break between leaving my job and going back to school, and I wanted to travel to see a new place. I picked Scotland, which is almost in the arctic circle. Scotland is very beautiful and in July, when I will be there, it stays light almost all through the night. I am excited to hike the mountains. My favorite place I have ever visited might be Kenya though. I saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen when I visited your country.

Now, the same question for you: where would you go if you could go anywhere?

I'm attaching a picture of Scotland below so you can see what it looks like.

All the best,
Christi
Hi Christi
Thanks for your encouraging words. My vacation was good and enjoyable. I have been working hard through out the vacation revising my notes to make sure I improve. In school my favorite subject is chemistry.

If you were given an opportunity to tour a country of your choice, which country would you tour and why?

Hoping to communicate with you in June during our mid term break.

Evans
Hi Evans,
I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your results on your exam. I'm sure that you'll do better next time. We always learn from our mistakes, so that is how we grow. Good luck trying to improve in the next semester! I believe that you can do it. What do you like to study best in school?

All the best,
Christi
Hi Christi
Hope you are fine and doing well in TSF. I am very happy to be in school and this all because of your great help. Term one of 2013 has come to an end. The term was busy with academics and extra curricular activities. By the end of the term we did an exam, which was very challenging, and I did not perform as I expected. However, I am working extra hard to improve and achieve my goal.

Wishing you all the best

Evans
Hey Christi,

Thank you so much for your journal. The first term began well and i am working extra hard since this is my last year in high school. It is good to hear that you want to become a lawyer. I am wishing you all the best in your studies. We are currently on a mid term break due to general elections that were held on 4th. We will resume school on 11th.

Regards,

Evans
Hi Evans,
I hope that you did well on your exams! I know how stressful big tests can be. You should be starting school soon, now, I believe. What are you looking forward to learning this year?

I'm also starting school soon. I applied to school to become a lawyer and I recently found out that I was accepted. I'm looking forward to studying the constitution of the United States in law school.

Good luck with the first term of school!

Christi
Hi Christi,
Thanks for writing to me. Our third term started by the end of September. We are currently towards the end of the term. We are looking forward to close the school in a month’s time. During the vacation I revised all subjects thoroughly. I like to carry out independent studies because they help me improve in my weak areas. I am hoping to perform well in the forth-coming exams.

Evans
Hi Evans,
Have you started your third term yet? What did you study during the school vacation? I hope that you were able to learn a lot! I find it very difficult to do independent study, so I admire your hard work! Please let me know if you think that this independent study helped you-- I hope it did.

All the best,
Christi
Hi friends,

Thank you so much for supporting my education. We have come to the end of second term. The term ran smooth and I was always in school thanks to your enormous support.

At the end of the term we did our end of term exam and I managed to score C+. I am working extra hard during the vacation in order to improve my performance. The third term begins on September and it is the final term for the year.

Experiences in my life are when I failed my examination during primary education and also when my parents failed to pay food for me. My difficult experiences in my life are when my parents have insufficient enough money to pay for all my basic needs at school such as food and other school contributions. The thing that makes me feel so proud of myself is when I succeeded in joining O-level education. This makes me feel that I will, I must, I can do everything. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life will be to reach my dream of being a doctor general so as I can help other people in society. My future dream is to be a GOOD surgical doctor. After me reaching my dream, I will give back help to my society and family, but also to WEF. I need to work hard upon reaching my dream in my life. Once I get chance to have power of changing anything in country, I will improve the education system by converting science subjects from theory to practical. In most of our schools, they teach science subjects mostly theoretically. I will start from there because as we know education is the key to every success in our people.

Notable experiences in my life are, first, passing my standard seven examination and, second, entering secondary school. My most difficult experience was when I started to learn English. I have learned that if you want to do something, you have to work hard. I felt proud was when I entered secondary school. My most memorable and happiest thoughts are from when I celebrated at my birthday party. My dream is to be an electrical engineer. I will get there through studying hard and doing well in science subjects. If I had the power to change my country, I would like to improve the electricity supply especially in rural areas because there are shortages of electric power.

The experience that I had early in life was to score good marks in my class, whereby I got good grades which encouraged me to study hard in class. The difficult experience that occurred in my life was an accident on my way back home. I learnt that I should not play again in bad areas. In my life I am proud of myself. I was getting low marks in class but now I have managed to improve a lot. The most memorable and happiest thing in my life is to play football. It exercises my body regularly and hence strengthens my body system. My dream is to become a mechanical engineer. The best way to reach it is through studying hard in school, in physics, mathematics and chemistry. If I had power in my country, I would change the education system of the country so that it helps graduates to depend more on self-employment.
