Hello,
The past term has been very successful for me, because I have acquired a great experience in both inside and outside of classes. I did well in all of my classes, and my grade report proved that to me. In addition, I got the opportunity to write applications for some schools in the US and I am still waiting for my results. They will probably be available in March. In terms of extracurricular activities, I volunteered to teach Primary Tutoring, a community services program that educates educating young children from Abaarso village who can't afford to go to school. I really enjoyed being part of it, because it is the only way that I can give back to my community now. Overall, it has been an amazing experience.

Best,
Abdulqaadir
To be honest, last term was my best term At Abaarso, because I made a lot of progress and accomplishment. I got the award of 8th Grade Student of the Term. This award is for the student who sincerely work hard when it comes to both his/her class and always does the things that help his/her community that he/she lives in. I also improved a lot of my English ability, specifically my writing and speaking. The day I arrived at the school, I knew about English. But, after a lot of effort about how to learn it I finally adapted it. In addition, I improved my behavior towards the others that is crucial for the school. I accomplished to have no trouble about someone or something in last term. What that means is, I learned how to respect the people around me. I imagined how I would feel if someone disrespects me or to says me something that I allowed to hear. I applied that to my behavior. Overall, last term was greatest comparing it to what I have passed.

Nohemi is from the small rural community Socma in the Sacred Valley Region of Peru. Growing up it was difficult for her family to meet their basic needs. This made it challenging for her to prioritize her studies; nevertheless, she was persistent and found the support she needed for secondary education through scholarship programs. "La alegria y las ganas son los que guian nuestro camino para el exito. "Happiness and motivation guide our path to success." In the future, she would like to use her knowledge and experience in order to help develop a sustainable tourism program for Socma. She is very proud of her beautiful community and hopes to share her culture with others in a way that allows for responsible social development.

Farhan comes from a nomadic family, which includes his mother, two grandmothers, two grandfathers, five sisters, and nine brothers. Being from a nomadic family, Farhan is especially excited to have earned a scholarship to study at our school and have the opportunity to improve his and his family’s future. Farhan’s biggest accomplishment is learning English and continuing to improve his language abilities. When he first arrived at school, he had trouble understanding English, but he now feels comfortable learning in English. Now that he is comfortable with English, he enjoys helping his peers who are having trouble learn English so that they can do better in school. In the future, Farhan hopes to be a School Headmaster so that he can help other students learn.
