Mustafa Mohamed Ibrahim is 19 years old, and beginning his post-graduate year at Abaarso School of Science and Technology in Somaliland. One of the strongest critical thinkers in the school, he says going to school allowed him the opportunity to see the world in a different way, and to question and have different opinions. He hopes one day to become a mathematician because he says, "Math is a language where you communicate with nature," and it allows you to create and innovate in new ways around complex problems. An area where he enjoys thinking through such problems chess. The best chess player at the school, Mustafa says that chess is a "small world that could represent the whole world," and that chess allows him to reflect on life. He is also an avid runner, and says. "Running is pain. If you can do that you can do anything."

Charles did his national exam and emerged to be the best student in his class! His elderly grandparents are not in a position to cater for his secondary school fees since they have no source of income. Charles has always chased his dream of becoming a nurse and he believes that once you choose hope, anything is possible. He is a fan of playing football during his leisure time.
