Mohamoud is a grade 8 student in the 2016 school year. Coming from the local orphanage, Mohamoud’s greatest achievement is earning a scholarship to attend school. His favorite classes are math and English. In his free time, Mohamoud enjoys playing basketball and reading novels. Mohamoud hopes to be an engineer in the future so that he can improve his country’s infrastructure.

this term is going good for me and i am in intervention upper school. last i was joining programming and electronic. this is my fifth year in Abaarso school. i will like to study engineering science. i am came from Hargeisa orphanage center. I really appreciate you(sponsor)and the my lovely school and gave me chance to learn high education. I am really thankful the founder of the school which is Jonathan Starr. my education is depending on you guys thank you.

    Mutheu is the fifth born child from a family of 6 children. Her parents rely on casual jobs to sustain the family. Despite being sent home due to school levies every now and then, she has remained resolved towards achieving her dream of becoming a teacher. Mutheu believes that knowledge is power and she wants to pass it to students to end illiteracy in the rural areas. She also wants to empower students to attain their dream careers and occupations so as to improve their livelihoods. During her free time, she likes to read novels.

He wants to become a secondary school teacher when he grows up. He is inspired to be a teacher so that he can contribute to building society through knowledge sharing.

    Enoch comes from a humble family of two and he is the first born child. His parents are unemployed and depend on casual jobs to sustain their family and thus unable to raise his secondary school fees. Despite staying home for most of the time throughout his primary education due to lack of school levies, his dream to become a mechanical engineer has kept her focused. Enoch has seen a number of people in his area struggle too much when their machines and engines break down and there is no one to help repair them. He would also like to help the needy and poor families support their children in becoming better persons in the future. His hobbies are drawing and taking photographs. He holds on to the quote that says the road to success is not straight.
