Dear Fadumo,

I recently received an email that you graduated-- which makes me so happy! Several years ago, when I was also back in 10th grade, my close friends and I cam across Abaarso School. Looking into it, we found your story so inspiring and tried to help as best we could.

I am now a college student studying engineering, passionate about math and science just like you talk about. I am so glad I have received information about your graduation. While we don't formerly know one another, I am still so happy for you!

Keep learning! Keep dreaming!

--Ryan
This year was a very successful year because I achieved a lot of things that I was hoping to achieve. In the school we had a lot of new things like the elective classes. In those classes students get to choose the classes they want to join. I choose engineering, because I love anything that relates with math and engineering was the only option. In the future I would like to be an engineer, so this was another reason that i choose engineering. One activity that I do in the school and I really enjoy doing it is going to the orphanage were orphan kids live. In there I teach the kids math to give them the same opportunity I have and I really enjoy teaching them what I have learned earlier.

"La alegria y las ganas son los que guian nuestro camino para el exito. "Happiness and motivation guide our path to success." In the future, she would like to use her knowledge and experience in order to help develop a sustainable tourism program for Socma. She is very proud of her beautiful community and hopes to share her culture with others in a way that allows for responsible social development.

Now that he is comfortable with English, he enjoys helping his peers who are having trouble learn English so that they can do better in school.
