Jane is the first born child in a family of three. Her father deserted the family leaving the children under the care of their mother who works as a house help. Jane completed grade eight in 2016 and scored high marks. Her mother could not afford to take her to secondary school and instead wanted her to be employed as a house help. Jane defied her mother and with the help of her local pastor went back to school and repeated grade 8. In 2017 she emerged the best girl in her school and was admitted to a national school. Despite the many challenges, Jane is determined to excel in her studies. Her dream to become a surgeon remains her driving force. She hopes to help the less fortunate in the society who cannot afford medical care. Jane believes that hard work pays.

I hope you are fine. I would like to thank the Almighty God for His protection and the donors for their support through their generous donations. Hi friends and donors,
I hope you are fine. I would like to thank all the donors who support this organization, may God bless you abundantly. we are going for the second half of the term, I have only one term and do my final examination. I hope to do my best. I have being putting a lot of effort in English and mathematics and I have seen a great improvement. I have read a lot of novels that have improved my fluency in English and they have also inspired me. I want to be an electrical engineer, what are some challenges in this field? we are going back tomorrow, till next holiday,goodbye.

    Emmaculate is the last born in a family of three; one sister and one brother. Her parents rely on subsistence farming for livelihood, which has been greatly affected by the changing climate. While in primary school, Emmaculate spent most of the time at home while the other students were at school. This was because of lack of finances to cater for some of the requirements at school. This did not stop her but instead propelled her towards achieving her dream of becoming a cardiologist in order to save lives. Her role model is Barack Obama and she likes his phrase of ‘Yes we can’. Moreover, she likes reading story books during her free time.

    Mutheu is the fifth born child from a family of 6 children. Her parents rely on casual jobs to sustain the family. Despite being sent home due to school levies every now and then, she has remained resolved towards achieving her dream of becoming a teacher. Mutheu believes that knowledge is power and she wants to pass it to students to end illiteracy in the rural areas. She also wants to empower students to attain their dream careers and occupations so as to improve their livelihoods. During her free time, she likes to read novels.

He wants to become a secondary school teacher when he grows up. He is inspired to be a teacher so that he can contribute to building society through knowledge sharing.
