Dear TSF sponsors,

This is Tunu, the Communications Manager at Orkeeswa School.

I hope that you are well and keeping safe as the world slowly attempts to go back to normal.

At Orkeeswa School, our students are doing well with their academics and extracurricular activities as they prepare to finish their first term, in June.

Al-Mukhsin is now in 9th grade, after completing last year’s National Examinations and passing with flying colors. The class had a 100% pass rate on their National Exams and we are very proud of them! As a 9th grader, Al-Mukhsin now has the opportunity to focus on specific classes, Art or Science, that set him up for his future ambitions. We had a chat with him and thought you would like to hear what he has to say.

"In my 8th Grade National Exams I got division one (A+ average). I was happy for putting in the hard work and what I achieved. There is definitely room for improvement and better results when I get to 10th Grade. I intend to have to do a lot better than I did now."

We also spoke to Al-Mukhsin about his career plans and this is what he shared;

"After I complete my studies ,I want to become a pharmacist. This is because I want to help people in my society with medicines for different diseases but also because there are no enough pharmacies in our community."

Thank you for your continued support of Al-Mukhsin’s education and for being part of the journey in realizing his potential and goals. I look forward to keeping you updated on Al-Mukhsin’s progress and accomplishments this year.

With Gratitude,
Tunu and Orkeeswa School
