About

Charles is an orphaned boy who is determined and hardworking. His single mother passed on in 2009, leaving him under the care of his aged grandparents. He is the only child in his family. Charles did his national exam and emerged to be the best student in his class! His elderly grandparents are not in a position to cater for his secondary school fees since they have no source of income. Charles has always chased his dream of becoming a nurse and he believes that once you choose hope, anything is possible. He is a fan of playing football during his leisure time.

Dear donors,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to sincerely thank you for your generous support in paying my school fees.
Your kindness has made a significant difference in my life, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity you have given me to continue with my education without being sent home for school fees.
This term, I have been fully committed to my studies and personal growth.
Academically, I have worked hard to improve my performance across all my subjects.
I am especially proud of my progress in geography, where I have managed to raise my grades through consistent revision and active participation in class.
I have also developed better study habits, including setting aside time each day for reading and completing assignments on time.
Beyond the classroom, I have been engaging in group discussions and collaborative learning with my classmates, which has helped me better understand challenging topics.
I have also learned the importance of discipline, time management, and perseverance—skills that I know will benefit me in the future.
Your support has not only eased the financial burden on my family but has also motivated me to work even harder to achieve my goals.
I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and to become someone who can also make a positive impact on others.
Thank you once again for believing in me and investing in my education.
I deeply appreciate your generosity and will continue striving to make you proud.
Hi Charles,
I’m happy to be able to contribute to your school fees, It’s wonderful that you are helping your guardians during the school break. I’m sure they appreciate your help and company. . I hope you are enjoying the break and will return to school in January refreshed and ready to start the new school year.
I just returned from 3 weeks in Kenya visiting a small school near Kikuyu. I am always impressed by how hardworking and friendly Kenyan students are.
I wish you much success in your studies this year and some fun in sports and choir as well.
Merry Christmas!
Karen
