Asalaamalaykum Hamse. Ma fiicaantahay?

I hope your studies are going well. I am contributing to your tuition as I hope you finish the year and complete your secondary education. I am grateful that Abaarso exists in order to empower the Somali youth to pursue their education to help give Somaliland a brighter future. We need the Somali youth to help foster development and growth in the country.

I live in the United States. My parents immigrated from Somaliland. I completed my education at Northwestern University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I found out about Abaarso when my father told me that one of the students that graduated from your school is a freshman at Northwestern University. I was amazed when I discovered this school and how many students are studying abroad in world-class universities.

Engineering is a rewarding career path. The coursework in college will be challenging but it will be worth it in the long term Insha'allah. Are there any universities you are considering to attend?
This year i became upper school grade 9, and i am happy for that. In Abaarso school there are some activities that students do. I do some activities and I am in a program that called " Gebily orphanage program" this program is helping a children that live a city in Somalia called Gebily. This city is far away 35km from the school and some students and i are going their in three days to teach to teach that children. So we teach two subjects that are English and Math. In addition to that, I like to play soccer, basketball. In my free time I like to draw pictures some times and I am interesting by drawing pictures in my free time.

My name is Saddam Daahir Adan and I am from Hargeisa. I am a brother of 18 siblings and I am the most loved one. My favourite class is history because I want to be a politician in the future so I believe it will help me with my career. In my free time, I love to learn other languages like Spanish and Hindi and I learn them from YouTube. The reason I am interested in learning other languages is to communicate with people in the world. My hobbies are to debate with others who believe the wrong ideas whatever they are just to remove ignorance from their mind and to learn basketball too.
