Alexander is the lastborn child in a family of four. All his elder siblings have all dropped out of school in primary level due to lack of school fees. His mother is single and unemployed. She has been ailing and can rarely manage to do manual work to cater for her children. Despite all odds alexander managed to perform very well in his primary level education. He is determined to achieve his goal of becoming a doctor in future. As a doctor, he believes that he will help the poor in the society access medical services. Alexander believes that education is the key to success.

It has been well for me during this pandemic though there were few challenges but am happy I managed to pass through them.Despite all that I'm so happy that I have learnt new things during this period.Now it is another year and I appreciate the government for reopening the school after a long closure due to corona wave. I promise to work hard towards my goals as I am going back to school.......Thank you.....

I really appreciate for more explanation about your country,i thought everything is technology you do not grow crops you do import.To my side am doing great still working to achieve my goals.Your education system is almost the same to our country and i wish to join university in your country.Am also doing M learning here at Kenya Connect library and we are really benefiting from it as a student.

His father could not afford to take him to secondary school and therefore he decided to repeat grade eight with the hope of getting a scholarship to pursue his goal. Fedelis attributes his success to his discipline and cooperation with teachers. He remains focused to achieve his goal of becoming an engineer in future to help his community. He believes that hard work never goes unrewarded.

    Joseph is the second born child in a family of five. His elder brother dropped out of school due to lack of school fees. Since the passing on of his father, Joseph and his siblings have been staying with their mother who has taken over the responsibility of providing for her children. Though determined to make sure that her sons get the best, her health condition has affected her and can rarely manage to do manual work. After the death of their father, the extended family drove them out of their ancestral land. The family is currently living in a rented house in Wamunyu. Joseph is determined to change their family in future. He believes that hard work pays and in future he dreams of becoming a doctor, first to treat his mother and then other people in the society.
